I'm glad that you like Dragon Age, too! DAO is my favorite game.

You're very welcome! I really liked your photographs of the wooden church. I'd never seen a church like that before; it's quite amazing!

Yeah, it is. And the place is really nice, too - it's on a small island on the huge lake. If you ever find yourself around Saint Pete, do try to visit it!

It sounds like a very inspiring location: this beautiful church on a lake-bound island. It would be worth visiting, for certain! I'm glad that you shared your photos of it; I hadn't realized it existed until now.

Thank you so much for this link! I didn't realize that Kizhi island was an open-air historical/cultural site as well; and a World Heritage site, no less. It looks like your photos were of the Church of the Transfiguration, which is a really remarkable structure. This is amazing! The island museum reminds me of the historical villages that you sometimes find in the United States. Very cool! Thank you again for this link (and I appreciate that it's in English as well; I wouldn't have been able to read it in Russian).
Thank you again, SaintGlory!

You're most welcome! I'm very glad that you found it so exciting. I myself was charmed by the place. Kizhi definitely could use more publicity, it seems, as it is not very well known around the world.
Oh, I've heard of those! Actually, I'd love to visit a village like that one day.

Yes, it was a very interesting website, so thank you for sharing it. It would be nice if Kizhi was more well known, especially as it's a World Heritage site.
Yes, they're pretty neat villages. It kind of depends on where you are as to what sort of historical village you would see.
Also, I saw that Anndr has posted your commission. It's so lovely!

Again, you are welcome.
Well, if I ever go to the US, I'll sure contact you and ask for advice.
Ah, yes, it's nice, even though she didn't quite capture the personae. My fault, I suppose - I'm not that good with precise descriptions of facial features and expressions.

I understand how you feel about explaining expressions and facial features and such when commissioning. I feel the same way sometimes. It's hard to get all of your ideas across without being able to speak to the artist face to face. I'm glad that you still like it, though. Your characters look very interesting!
