I know what you mean... but with me I always end up with happy endings... I actually wanted them to die in twilight LMFAO. as horrible as it sounds, i think it would have been better off, and more romantic if the cullens died protecting the child, and then left her and jacob to do their thing.

yes she should... i mean a writer can't just create a world, stuff it with characters, and forget about it. with a series as beautiful as the inkheart trilogy, cornelia funke should keep on writing!
oh right. twilight. i almost forgot about that WAYYY too sappy ending. like you said, i am sure mrs. meyer could have done better. somehow, it just didn't stick. it sounded--i don't know--stupid almost. (no offense intended) hahaha. i burst out laughing on the part of "her and jacob to do their thing". that is SO how my friend feels! X)
readers are like that. especially readers of evocative books. i cry for just about anything! i cry when i watch movies. i cried when charlotte died in charlotte's web. why i think i've spent more time crying than reading!!! lol.

Well, it's like when we were kids. We always wanted to be the girl barbie, and make our friends be the boy. She made the ending too... not fit for the book. The only part I liked in that book was Renesmee and Jacob, and then at first when jacob came back. Bella should have dealt with her needy-ness and just lived like a normal human. And of COURSE bella got over the newborn thing. Its like getting your own way with the barbies. Rocks fall, and they all die. That's the way I may end my story. LMFAO. That actually gave me a good idea. -scrtchscrtch-

breaking dawn was a weird book all right! stephenie meyer was breaking a lot of rules: first among them was breaking one book into three separate ones, told from bella, jacob, and then bella's viewpoint. it just didn't seem...right. twilight, new moon, and eclipse was ALL bella. suddenly she inserts jacob and i'm all like waaa? *blink blink* especially the battle scene...no one died. i mean someone should at least get injured or something but NOOO... *rolls eyes* lol. you should try that. the rock falling part. just be sure not to kill off too many people.
