Oh, that's cool, I think Fejd is being really underrated. They deserve such a bigger scene and audience.

I was planning on going to it, yeah But I'll have to catch an airplane from Trondheim to get there. Can't be missed from work during the summer, you know!
Hitchhiking from Stor-Elvdal to Gudvangen? Well, you could always try

Hey Wulf I did some fast research and it appears that in Sweden, I bet Denmark too then, in the Middle ages we started building the churches in stone. And the ones that where still built in wood was not near as elaborate as the Norwegian ones. However we have something left of the Stavkyrka -style wich is called "Klockstapel" wich is very common here.

wulfhaer In reply to Creative-Games [2010-03-16 22:13:33 +0000 UTC]
Man, they look also very nice! I have seen a lot of those 'klockstapel' in Danmark as well, only not so nice (more
simplistic) as in the pictures!

Hey man, me and a friend is doing a roadtrip this summer, and I', researching cool places to go to. I found this on wikipedia. I know you're more into the more "viking" styled looking churches, but I found some cool stuff here too that you might like. So... here you go.

Wow, well, hmmm, I guess. I loved playing the games a scrolling trough the books. But a searchfield to find things easily sure would make it cooler. Well, I'm adaptable. Sure.
Thanks to you man you've gotten me into wooden churches. Sadlt most of the really cool ones are gone/replaced cus of age and changing fashions. I've discovered that the Slavic countries also have alot of great and curious building solutions look ALOT like Stavkyrkor in some cases altough missing dragonheads hehehe
Btw, I'm back in Sweden. It's a lot of "slask" (melting snow) but it's sooo good to be home. I'm just reincarnating myself and hopefully will start building up a new portfolio AND finish my book WITH illustrations and start sending out the script to different "bokfΓΆrlag"(book companies) and then wait for answers.

wulfhaer In reply to Creative-Games [2010-04-08 13:23:54 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I am kinda dissapointed because I also love to have books and see them trough. But who am I, but a Dutchmen, who does not even play the game - but only buys books for the nice pictures in it. I was actually really looking forward to a new bestiarium and the book about elves, but now it is going to be published on the internet (and I will probably not get a subscription, so that's a pity!).
So what about your trip then? Will you stay in Sweden / Scandinavia or will you travel all the way to Marnamures where the nice wooden churches are?
There is also a lot of slask here, and I can not wait to see it all gone! Then nature will become at its best and you can go wherever you want to go, instead with skis or snowshoes under your feet.
Be sure you send me a signed copy of your book when it will be published!
-Wulf.

Creative-Games In reply to wulfhaer [2010-04-09 22:33:28 +0000 UTC]
Haha sure will send you a copy. My boss at the gamecompany really liked the story/plot and said he thought I got something going. Since he already has a game company, a PS3 game coming this summer (hopefully) written the script for a published book/comic book and is about to get the second edition published I'm gonna trust him on it. He also told me not to say "if it gets published" and rather think positive. If I'm as modest in my selfbelief as I am with this, it already lost. He really taught me to really believe in myself and what I do. And be confident that you know it's good. I know it is, so why should I not be confident about it?
About the weather: The only thing that's good about this weather is the heavy fog. Makes the forests and pinetrees look evil and dark. Wich is cool, and very Trudvang-esque. Man, snowshoes? You're really the more hiking kinda guy than me I suppose!
For now I'll be staying atleast in Scandinavia/ Northern Europe. Being away has taken off alot of "home blindness" from me and I really appreciate my country and the everyday life in Sweden. (Ofcourse I'm not saying that it's the best in the world, but quite frankly, after living somewhere completely else, I know it's good, and now I appreciate that and I'm not taking it for granted) sounds like I've been in some third world country, but the climate in the south really isn't my thing. I like the north.
This summer me and my ex-roomie is going on a Medelpad-roadtrip. Medelpad/VΓ€sternorrland is the county we're from and we discussed how you just don't care about what's around you. Because you feel it not good enough. Well we're completely over that and we're going to get ourselves some awareness of the things closest to us. For example, where going to the view at: VΓ€ttaberget

Hej! You are very welcome! How's the life in Norway? Still working on the farm you mentioned? When will you release your first EP ???
And yeah, I will be moving to Norway February next year, as I am accepted at the HΓΈgskolen of Hedmark. I will spend about seven or eight months in Evenstad .
And, of course, we should meet!
Oh, and I cannot believe I will see Wardruna playing next September, in a nice inn in the village next door!

Sounds great! Only so few months? I thought you would be taking a bachelor or something like that, you see But yes, we should definitely meet! I'll be staying in Norway too, though in Trondheim. I'll be studying Art History for a year, earning some points and waiting for my girlfriend to finish school
My EP is far off in the distance But I have actually been writing lyrics for a couple of songs! So maybe I'll start composing more after some time.. I like to write music after I've written lyrics.
Wardruna concert sounds awesome, I though about going there. But, as Wardruna is a Norwegian band, I figured I'd get the chance to see them live here some time Be sure to take some pictures when you see them, though!
