Honestly...Those two AUs you've showed me are masterpieces! I am awestruck with beautiful and subtly heart wrenching they were, definitely going in my collection of favorites. I think you particularly portrayed Akaashi's character quite accurately which is rare in a lot of cases.

A chorus of "Welcome!" erupted when the small bell chimed above the dark wood door, as you took you first steps into the warm cafe. It was your favorite place in the world, and not just because of the adorable and handsome barista you liked to keep an eye on. It was so much more than that still picture online, as you took your usual seat by the foggy glass window you thought about it.
It was small, cozy, and always warm, especially on the chilly winter days like today. It was usually moderately busy but never noisy enough to disrupt anything. It was where you took your work, essays, papers, or projects. Sometimes it was just a place for you to read and relax when you needed a break and a warm drink. You could simply daydream here, sit, and think, or enter a metaphorical dreamscape where the silver haired boy would sweep you off your feet.

Don't even worry, I was on dA for years before doing any. So basically, I open up a certain number of slots... I feel like most people do less than this, but I got ambitious with 25. Sometimes you can have a theme for your requests, other times you just ask people to put a character and any prompts they have! I made it clear with my watchers that I would do these at my own pace; I think it took me 7 months to finish. But these aren't commissions; you're doing them for people for free, so that's why I tell them it's on my time. You can look at other rules I've put in place; my request sets are often more formal than other ones I think, so pick and choose what elements you want from this! And then I just do first come first serve.

That is such a creative theme as well, it seems like such great writing practice! I really look forward to doing this now! I do have a couple more questions though:

Is there anyway you have found to slip through writer's block or is there something that can be done about fics that are hard to write?

Ahhh I'm so glad!! And omg I don't mind at all, a lot of the basic formatting I looked up other request journals and copied from them and just added my own elements and rules in there!
Feel free to not do a theme as well; sometimes certain themes like that just inspire me more than a really vague plot! And ask me all the questions you like, I'm just gonna bold them here so you can see my answers:
Workload: It can be too much if you put a lot of pressure on yourself. I recommend not taking as many requests as I did, either. But I usually just wrote at my own pace and during breaks from school or really calm periods! If you feel stressed, I think you should take a break, because other priorities in your life are more important and as I said, you're doing these as a favour.
Inspiration: I recommend either working with the requester and saying, "this aspect isn't working out for me, I think I'm going to change A to B" and if they don't like it, come up with a compromise (but you have the right to refuse any request or write it as you wish!!), or ask for more details from them, or ask others for help! Sometimes I'll just message a close friend and start talking about it and ideas will start popping up. Whatever works best for you-- you can find this out mostly through practice though.
Current Contests: Yep! Linking one below; this person was actually an entrant in my last contest and took the stuff from my contest and made their own! I recommend that you enter it, it's a great experience and I know it can be nerve-wracking but the best thing to do is just try it! Worst case scenario-- you don't win the competition, but you learn something new. c:

Ehehe, actually I'm on like a work term (they call it co-op here, not sure if it's the same for you) so I work a full time 9-5 job for the next four months! So after 5:00 I don't have homework or classes or anything so that's why I have a lot of time.

Okay, I'm really glad! And ahhhh, he's adorable! For some reason I think I like him more than Karma even though he's the classic favourite, LOL.
And omg no worries at all, I actually don't usually like when reader is put in the same class like I mentioned in my post, unless it really works out, like there's a reason they're there and the plot makes sense and isn't just a repeat of canon events in the series. So omg do anything else you'd like, or if you can put them in Class E and it works out, then go for it! But I'm not picky about that stuff at all!

I've bulleted three of the six so far and yours is coming along very nicely! All of these characters are so fun to write for! Although I'm having some trouble with one. Someone requested Principle Nezu from BNHA and I am just flat out stuck! I've never written for a character like Nezu before and as much as I want to take the challenge I'm just at a loss for ideas. Ahhhhh, that sounds fantastic! I'm sosososo excited! Ooooh yes. The random character is quite common in fic requests, aha. One suggestion I have is that you can always ask them to change the character, I think I've done that once before on a casual request. Otherwise, I'd say my best advice is to look at stories for him and see what others have done in the past and how he's usually characterized, and whether or not you agree with that characterization! I've honestly never written for him either, and I'd find it just as hard. Could be something like he gives a flower to the reader and struggles to carry it since it's so big and he's tiny or she accidentally crushes it and freaks out about it or something lmao. I love backstories as well! The ones in Ansatsu Kyoushitsu are fantastic,
but I also mean in general. It makes me feel closer to and helps me understand a character.
Which is really important when it comes to writing about characters haha.
