I’ve been alright!! I have a lot coming up so I’ve been feeling more cheerful as of late, which is a pleasant change from my life being so scheduled and stagnant for such an extended period of time c’: I’ve been taking my art more seriously, studying other artists’ work carefully in order to help improve my own skills.

Sorry if I scared ya ;o; I’m trying to be more active on social medias so I can expand my audience for my art for when I decide I’m ready to start selling it, and genuinely just the hope that I can rekindle the passion I once had for this place. It’s so barren here that I would get more excitement out of watching grass grow than hanging out here, so I decided I should reach out to some more people to hopefully bring life back into this place for me and make my pursuit more enjoyable rather than a burden. Not only that, but I still peek in from time to time on the people who I’ve had a history with to see how they’re doing and how far they’ve come with their art, so I thought I shouldn’t be a silent creeper anymore and let my presence be more known haha ;v;

Thanks man! I know I just got out of a recent semi toxic relationship with this one dude.. I can't stand guys around in my town. I rather just be with someone I've met online anyway than people I know in person.. it's been kind of rocky and I feel more free from said person. Family matters is another issue but I've been trying to get through all of that too.
I know on a semi brighter note, I've ordered some cosplays so I'm eager to get them for the convention I'm going to In October. ;v;

Oh heck I totally understand ;; Oddly I feel as if I have a much stronger and more personal connection with the people I’ve met online than the people I see every day in person. Distance makes the heart grow fonder I suppose??
But shoot the feeling of freedom after getting away from someone who drained all your energy away is definitely the tell tale sign that you’ve made the right decision to break away from them, so good for you. No person deserves to feel like they are trapped with someone they are unhappy with.
I cry good luck with powering through all the family issues going on too :c I can’t relate on the matter myself but I know plenty of people who do, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone with how broken it can make someone feel.
Ohh heck yes conventions are the best!! Mad respect to cosplayers. That stuff is hella expensive, and the creativity and patience people have to create them, it’s amazing. I spent about ~$400 on my last cosplay; I like to dress up as my own OCs so I gotta have almost everything custom made! And the makeup takes a decade and a half I spent at least 3 hours every morning doing my makeup while I was dressing up!

I’m currently assembling my next cosplay of my sea slug boy, which I know with the complexity of his design will cost even more than my inkling did. One of the people I ordered from finished the tail and it should be delivered by tomorrow, I’m so excited!! Not only that, but I was offered help from a nice group of ladies I see a lot at work and gahh I’m just so grateful ;;;;

I honestly can relate to that?? Nothing wrong with it, I guess with those type of situations, it could make the bond better between the two who distanced themselves for nonsense or past negativity because honestly, if you hold onto grudges or negativity towards a person who has became better, wiser, etc. It doesn't really help if you know what I mean? |D;
Yeah, I feel better from that one person honestly. He's saying how he's not trying to make distance between us but pulling other nonsense in and it's just too much. I plan to avoid him honestly when it comes to the 4th since my other friends are gonna be chillin' at his place and.. yeeeah.. it's just gonna be something.
I appreciate you wishing me luck and all though with my family situations. I kind of need it, things should be okay in the end as long as I just don't look at it all negative.

I gotta say, that pic of your cosplay with the make up and all looks pretty nice. o: And wow, I feel ya there, literally I had to re buy my cosplays due to some issues on Amazon with this one gift card I had.. so that was fun.. :'D
