Do you drop photos on a template layer and work from there, or do you simply reference photos on the side?

Caught your Castle fanart around google sometime long ago... (I know, it was a random find. It might have been connected to your tumblr when I found it, I didn't look into it back then.)

And as I was getting my friend into Castle, I tried googling it again to show her the sexy drawing, but somehow I stumbled upon you on tumblr.. Ended up in awe of several drawings.
