mah mother was dying from smoking, in a terrible state & she said to mah in the hospital, 'this is horrible but what's really frightening is the thought of choking to death' - so ah said, don't worry, ma, they won't let that happen' - immediately on saying this, the lady opposite choked to death & even tho the nurses rapidly put screens around her, the sounds of violent self-strangulation [courtesy of the hellish smoke of decades] was like a sick-joke in a horror-movie
what stopped mah was a pal with cancer of the jaw & nose who had it all removed, leaving him with half a head full of tubes, one of which he rigged up to inhale joints - tell ya ma to pack it up & go nuts for 3 months: the benefits then become wonderful - breathing returns, food tastes wonderful & the fear is removed
