Not to much, i am going to be an Uncle today my sister is having her baby! so i am going back home for the weekend tomorrow morning. other than that, still planning to get Tuxeedo going soon. I gotta go buy some financial software to keep everything in order and register with the government and all that fun stuff. I am aiming for some time in October, so no much further away whats new with you, we have not talked in a while.

That is pretty bad ass. My step brother had his first son about 4 months ago. It was awesome he's adorable (aside from crying lol) I can't wait, let me know when you get a website up so I can check it out just see how things are moving along. I'm excited for you, I know it will be awesome. My Design Concepts teacher (whom is a graphic design teacher) told me I should think about switching to design because of my project, I'm like uhh nope already was in it haha.

I haven't been up to much, doing finals and stuff. OOO AND GOING TO CALI next saturday I love how im writing a novel lol.

The whole business thing might be put on hold now cause no one will give me a credit card. it is starting to piss me off. the only way for me to get one is to putt 500 of my own money on a card and use that. if i had 500 to blow like that i would be using it on better things than a credit card, this is ridiculous.

well I'm pretty sure I aced both my finals. definitley the one in critical thinking. And I'm pretty sure I did in the world civilization one. Ugh thats not good at all. Its so easy to get a credit card here. Like its nuts. anyone can get one.

Thats awesome, congrats! when do you start your second quarter of school? if you have not started already.
It is usually like that here with the credit cards too, but i guess i am the exception... i guess no body likes me lol. oh well, i think i am going to set up an rrsp soon, and give the bank $500 to put on a credit card to use so i can at least start building my credit. the government and banks suck! always trying to screw everyone over.

No I start the 4th of October I'm excited for all of my classes besides Computer Applications. a four hour class for 11 weeks on how to work computers and play with powerpoint, excel, and word. UMMM FML! I'm not computer stupid and this class is a bunch of BS. UGH.

Oh and yes I am still excited for the buisness cards I can't wait to get them printed. But I Have to wait until I get money. I'm doing promo work in October for my website so I can have stuff up there

I've been at a gallery thing most of the day. it was pretty fun, I really enjoy walking around to galleries in a city. I have some pictures that I took up on my facebook, I'm trying to decide if I want to put them up here.

i think you should up load them, they are good i love walking around to galleries too, there are a lot of little ones in downtown Ottawa that you would never know are there until you walk past, its really cool!

Thank you so so much I actually did transfer to the art institute of Indianapolis. I quite love it. If photography is your passion, you should definitely pursue it. You will learn so much more about yourself and your photography when you are actually immersing yourself in it.

Yeah I really want to, but something is just holding me back. It takes a lot of creativity, and Ive never been the most creative person. Theres nothing Id love more than to take photos for a living, but it seems that is something that it would be hard for someone like me to do. We'll see, maybe something will change and Ill do it one day

Well, it takes a lot of dedication and hard work. And depending on the direction you want to go with your photography will depend on how much creativity you will need. A lot of photographers, who are in it for fine arts. Will just take pictures of things around them. Some take a more creative approach to their work. And others will just do portraits for weddings, families, and whatnot. Its about pushing yourself and finding which style and career is best for you. Plus I love the fact that I can spend money on something I would love to spend money on because its my career best part!

Exactly.
I think first I need to find exactly what I enjoy shooting most, and then go from there. Right now Ill shoot anything. I especially love landscape and nature photography with an artistic feel, but after viewing all the awesome expressive portraits on here, I really want to start photographing people. I just need to find some people haha.

I agree with the money thing. Ive been wanting a DSLR for 2.5+ years now, and finally got one last month. Ive already spent a lot on everything, and theres still tons of equipment I want. But its something I truly enjoy so I think its definitely worth it.

I chose to go into Graphic Design, because I figured thats where I would make most of my money. I got into it, and I kind of liked it. But I just got to thinking, this isn't where I want to spend, what, 8/24 hours a day doing for the rest of my life. I just started doing deep thought. A lot of people who are in love with photography don't want to exploit it and get burnt out on it because you have to do things you don't like sometimes to make money. So some people just keep it for a hobby. I want to do the fine arts aspects as well as do some weddings and fashion.


Ugh, spending so much money on photography is extremely annoying. A lot of the lenses that are good are superrrr superrr expensive. But thats where your image quality comes from, more so your lenses than your DSLR Body. I want to get the D90 eventually. thats like 1000, im like D: Then in order to get a studio going you have to buy lights, backdrops...tons of things. its horrible.

Yeah, its probably a fine line between doing the kind of photography that you like most, and making the most money possible.

Theres so much photo equipment available, its overwhelming. Knowing what to get first and what to hold off on drives me crazy. My next purchase will be a fisheye.

I see you're a Nikon fan. You should really look into Canon's newer DSLRs. They are a lot less expensive than Nikon's and will most likely have a bit better specs. Canon announced the 60D yesterday, and it looks like a great camera. And they announced a fisheye lens that will fit my camera sensor, but all my money is gone lol

I already have two lenses for my Nikon, so I think I'm going to stick to it for a while. Maybe once I start being able to afford another camera, and more lenses... I will try them out because I heard they get really good color quality, which is essential. I'm not opposed to using them. I haven't grown up around a lot of photography, I more so got into it myself. So everything I've learned, I've learned from the internet haha. And my school also only comes equipped with Nikon equipment in the tech cage they have. So I can rent out things there for free. haha.


The fish eye is so my favorite lens for landscape.
