I LOVE ABYSS! I's my favorite videogame. (I could rant for hours about how much I love abyss. lol) I can't play symphonia because I don't have a gamecube, however I'm watching the anime right now, so that kinda counts I guess. And I can't wait for Xillia to come out next year!
*sigh, the tales series is so underrated, I wish more people knew about them.
Oh and how did you play innocence? I didn't think it was released in the US.

My favorite so far is Abyss too! It was the first one I played and really got me into the Tales series. I watched a bit of the Symphonia anime but I forgot where I was. -.-;
I'm so excited for Xillia! It looks awesome! Whenever I find out someone is a gamer, I ask them if they have played any tales games and most respond with "What are those?" and I get all sad.
My brother is really good at computers or something...but he made it so that I was able to play it with English text and Japanese voices. I'm not exactly sure how he found it though!

Abyss was my first one too. Such an underappreciated game. D: It's kinda nice that it was re-released for the 3DS which got more people to play it. Argh Nina has to play it
You're so lucky that you to to play Innocence. I'm going to try and see if I can find the english version of Inocence too. X3
Haha the exact same thing happened to me the other day. I was talking to this random guy at school about videogames and anime, and I asked him if he'd heard of the tales series. And he said no.

I don't have a 3DS either, but if I did, it would probably be the only game I'd play on it. (Well, Dream Drop Distance too, but that's probably it.)
And Nina doesn't have an excuse either, she has a PS2 AND a 3DS.
I let my friend borrow Abyss so she could get into the series. She's a Choral Castle. I really hate that place. I was like "Yes! You muct play it to become part of the tales fanbase!" (╯°□°)╯

I would totally play Birth by Sleep too, but I can't.
Is it funny that whenever I hear the word 'replica' my mind immidiately goes to Abyss? Like the other day at school, my teacher said replica, and I was like "Tales of the Abyss reference!"
It's the same thing when you can't take Mickey, Donald, and Goofy seriously anymore, now that you've seen them in Kingdom Hearts.

I have a big family and my dad used to own a game store so we have several systems...but I only own a simple DS. My brother has a PSP and he let me play Birth by Sleep, but I didn't get very far before I got stuck...I should really try to beat that boss again.
Don't worry, I always think of Abyss too. Even when I'm reading a book or watching something where someone shows up when they're dead or something I think "REPLICA".
What's funny is that I have a Kingdom Hearts jacket and whenever I wear it people only recognize those three and ask me who Sora is. I tell them it's Sore and then they ask where he's from, and I just show them my sleeve because it says Kingdom Hearts. XD

I'm at the part where you're supposed to go to the Lastalia in the center, but I've been focusing on side quests. XD
I've played Abyss, Vesperia, Innocence, and I started playing Symphonia but my Wii broke so now I can't finish. I wasn't even that far, too. It's great to find a Tales fan! I wish I could play more of them!
