I liked it because I could relate. I could hear the emotion in just those six words, the remorse. "I had to," to me, sounds like there was no other choice as far as that person knew. That means they thought about it, and whether it was a rash decision or not, they must have thought about it, even if it was only for a few seconds before they did what they thought they had to do. "I'm so sorry," sounds like regret. They wish they hadn't had to do whatever they did. They wish there had been some other way, and it shows they care about how it affects the other person in the situation. I loved it because with so few words, it has a lot of depth and so I applaud you on this wonderful piece. (:
