It's good that you're so excited!

Just as a tip to begin with, make sure you cover all the bases when you cosplay Essentials are a good quality wig
([link] is a good place to get wigs!), Good contact lenses (optical shop) to change your eye colour if it is needed(also makes your eyes bigger if it's diameter is wider than your own iris), well-applied make up (a lot of gurus out there. some are [link] , [link] ... many others out there!), a decent costume AND a GOOD photographer (this is very important! otherwise, your good cosplay will be put to waste! a good photographer REALLY makes a huge difference in whether your cosplay looks good or not.) that's a lot of things, isn't it?

I am no expert at cosplaying myself- in fact, i'm quite lousy and i've only got about 5 costumes or so in my arsenal! - so my tips might not be that great however, i hope that all this will help in someway! Good luck!

OMG no! Plz u havent even seen my props yet - and there's a reason for it. Doesnt even manage to stay as One piece (! one piece! ) @ home, let alone even going to an event with it LOL LOL LOL

Ah, yoroshiku ne

Hmm, for wig tips... I heard that a good way to maintain or detangle a wig is through using a mixture of fabric softener and water! (more info here: [link] )
As for make up, i think it's important to invest in the tools (brushes~) and foundation+concealer Esp foundation and concealer, because a flawless base for the rest of the make up to go on is essential! Even more so for cosplay as most characters have completely flawless skin <3 Yup!

Hmmm. I don't really know many tips XD I guess for wigs, my friend taught me, never believe they shouldn't be brushed after gettting them because if you brush them wwhen you get them, it make styling and brushing them so~ much easier in the future unlike how if you wait a month, brushing and styling is like asking pigs to grow wings and waiting for them to do so...
Make-up wise, it is hard to say much but i learn everything~ through this girls tutorial -> [link] it worked wonders for me after a little practing ^_^ I hope I helped anything you needed help with (truely in my opinion, you're already fantastic cosplayer :iconilioveyouplz: )I know you sure helped me!!! I just watched her tutorials! ^^ it seems rather good but she explains more than teach you techniques... and techniques are more important! X3 but i agree with her on the skincare and foundation note <3

nya when you first get a wig, it feels so nice you just have to touch it > 3 < i love new wigs! they are so nice <3 i love buying wigs although they put a dent in my wallet (so does everything else) > 3 <

p.s. about the false lashes thing - what she said was indeed, correct, but those with black strips aren't bad either! also, i prefer to do my eyeliner BEFORE my lashes because then if there's a little gap between my true lashline and where i stick the lashes because i cant always get it right above my lashline, the eyeliner that you applied before helps mask the little bit of gap where skin is showing! if you do it after, it will look v obvious that there's a gap and your eyeliner can't cover it up because u cant get into that little gap :<

Yeah, that was just one of the many tutorials my friend gave...there are so many out there but that was the best one that taught me for foundationing and make tricks! ^_^

I love~ buying wigs! Probably my favorite parts of the cosplaying, yet brushing some types are like puling teeth O.o But I completely agree with you on that note! XD

Thats good! There's so many different types of foundation and so many different ways to apply it... It gets a little confusing once in awhile!
I wish that she had a few more videos though About cosplay tips and all... <3
Oh i hate brushing wigs. It's so sad when you see all the hair getting ripped out... i feel like my wig's balding T__T the pain! But i still love wigs too much <3

I find a lot of videos from different people on youtube for cosplay tutorials now and days but none of them continue on with tutorials and it drives me crazy! But god do I love them all much XD I absolutely love the feeling of wigs when they are completely brushed nad perfect. God me and a friend were working on a miku wig....a demon that thing is....the before and after pictures are incredible...took us weeks to finish until we got it right XD I have an account for my cosplays! incase you want to see (though I only have two but is going to update more soon I look forward to yours as well!

omg i can imagine the horrors already - prolly a lot worst than my taiga wig which is BAD. It's cause i've used it at least six times - dont throw away your wigs! my friend throws hers after a few wears (like 3 max) and i balked - that's insane! what a waste of synthetic fibers, innit?! besides, wigs, being made of plastic is not very environmentally friendly :< mustnt waste it!!!! Haha i tried brushing my taiga wig a few times ones and i nearly ripped my own hair out from the frustration XP i can only begin to imagine what its like... >___> uhhh. horrid.

The thing is, with that wig, it was messier than how you would find a normal wig to be messy. It quite literally, looked like someone took the pig tail, tangled it up in a ball, threw them on the streets, waited until 5 cars drove on the, graded them on pavement and made sure every little stran of hair was tangled....it was horrid and just frightening to look at XD THROWING OUT PERFECTLY GOOD WIGS?!!! That's the worst thing I've heard when facing cosplay tragedies like such! You should like....ask her to let you take those off her hands when she is through with them so they no go to waste...and me loving trees, say it would also help the enviroment!

Well they weren't Perfect, but they prolly weren't badly tangled either which is such a waste, isnt it?! poor environment >__< but she already threw those away so it can't be helped. prolly lying in a big mess in a huge heap of rubbish right now >__> poor, poor wig. RIP. > 3 <
