No problem. I can't wait for Christmas. I already got a 20 gallon aquarium kit and a new pretty halfmoon betta, and will be getting some more fishies to put in the new tank in or around January. Any idea what you might be getting? And didja get anything cool for your b-day?

Also, I hope nobody does that asshole thing of combining X-Mas and b-day gifts to you, since your b-day is so close to X-Mas. D: If they do, be sure to give them a thorough spanking and tell them Libby sent it! Lol.

Lol! Well, they had to combine them this year, because I'm only home to visit for my birthday. I leave tomorrow, so I've already gotten to open everything. I got needed things like clothes, socks and food and whatnot paid for me, some nail art/polish stuff, some gloves, perfume, money.. random little things. None of it was a surprise, really. I helped pick things out 'cause I'm not around for the family to pick up on hints and know what I want anymore. My main gifts were the big Tangled and Avatar art books, and little "how to draw" the character books. Those makes me happy. ^_^

But yeah.. the close family has RARELY ever done the combining thing to me. Only in a few cases, where it was money (I've been given money early, for example, 'cause I was going to the bank anyway and it saved a trip. XD ), or a bigger gift rather than split small ones. They've never done it just to be assy and save themselves effort.
It's a crazy time of year for the family.. Several near-Xmas birthdays. Me (21st), my grandma (Jan 1st), and my Mom's boyfriend (Jan 2nd)! So yeah.. we're all used to it, and just celebrate lots extra. XD

LOL. My mom's birthday is January 23rd and our close family friend is close to that, so we decided we're gonna have a combined birthday for the two of them (I think). We have a lot of January/December babies in our family, too, but most of them live in or around New Orleans. I'm just glad I'm not going with my mother, sister and niece when they head down there after X-Mas. Last year was a NIGHTMARE. My family is so fuckin' buttfaced, LOL. I was pleasantly surprised with my cousins, though. The two that I HATED growing up were a hoot, and the one I sort-of liked was a high-strung turd. Go figure!

Lol, probably the best thing about that trip was the drive-through daiquiri place. I shit you not. They have a fuckin' fast food drive though that only makes daiqiris! WTH. O.o

I'm just glad my birthday isn't in a month with any holidays, 'cause my family would probably do the combining thing...jerks. XD
