Hello!I am working as a Dr. Lecturer in a Fine Art Faculty Cinema TV department in Turkey. I graduated with the doctoral thesis on the relation of cinema and space.
Photography is not only professional job and also is a passion for me. I conducted various photography projects in Turkey, Finland, Kyrgyzstan, Spain and France.
now, I am working on various projects on photographing the local cultures that try to survive in spite of the modern world. Cultural elements, daily life in different cultures, portrait, nature and landscapes comprise the areas in which I show interest in photography.

As can I... There are few men in the motion picture industry who have mastered the art of camera angles, select focus and lighting to deliver a truly suspenseful shot... Most modern horror and suspense films seem to just try to shock or gross out the audience.... Where Hitchcock, seemed to take the less is more approach realizing that the audiences own imagination could scare them far worse than anything that could be shown to them on the silver screen... To me that is the mark of a true cinematography genius!!!

you are very right. I graduated master degree with thesis about : Hitchcock films. it was very pleasure for me all times watching hitchcock films, and reading books about him and trying to smth. about him.
today cinematography reached very high level but it is not important this for me. I dont like horror films. I like only Hitchcock style suspense.. getting by getting increasing tension.. typical Hitchcock crescendo..deeply pshcological, deeply realistic and amazing framing, moves of camre...cary grant, james stewart...remember the North by Northwest... which film is the best? I think we can say unforgattable films from him may be 30-40, in a short time. isn't it?

First off let me apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I had become overwhelmed with projects and have another run beginning shortly…
I was going through Alfred Hitchcock’s filmography list this evening and did not realize just how many hit movies he actually created. Several I had not seen because they are not available at my local movie rental place… From 1922 – 1960 he created a new movie every year… Amazing… Except for the 1922 movie Number 13 that was never finished…
I agree and love the growing suspense and deep psychological nature and realism of Hitchcock’s films… There is also no other author, director, or producer to match except for one series of movies that I will give credit to… Silence of the lambs, Hannibal, and Red Dragon managed to capture similar realism and suspense…
As far as which movie is better (between Dial M for murder and North by Northwest). This is just my opinion. I give that one to Dial M for murder simply because the story line in North by Northwest did not remain memorable to me, I will have to watch it again… Though my all-time favorite work of his, and you will probably find this to be disappointing, is still Psycho, and the Alfred Hitchcock presents TV series episode: Man from the South starring, Steve McQueen and Peter Lorre… Wouldn’t you agree that the Alfred Hitchcock presents TV series left you on the edge of your seat even though each episode was maybe only 30 minutes long? What did you think of Psycho, and Vertigo?
