# About me
I am excited by metaphysical escalation. Yet, how can a dynamic intensification be captured in static print? How can one even conceive of a continual heightening? One cannot.

For what itβs worth, I am a fan of your work, both here and on your old account. My personal favorite was Alien to Ambition, and while Iβm not personally the biggest fan of fem dom, I can look passed that to see the care and attention you put into your work and still enjoy it. Gem of Possibility and Quintessential Mary-Sue were very well done and much enjoyed. I hope to see more from you in the future, hopefully more male dom stories but that is just a personal preference. Regardless, I hope to see more in the future, and welcome back.

Just noticed Dark Souls is your favorite game. I'm a huge fan too. I finished Dark Souls 3, a month ago. I feel a little empty now.
Happy new year Sir.

Indeed. If you want a 2D game within the theme of Dark Souls, I would recommend "Salt and Sanctuary."
Demon Souls is a 'proto-type' version of Dark Souls. Graphics aren't nearly as good, nor is the user interface, and the difficulty curve isn't smooth. It's a very "raw" version of Dark Souls, and you get to see where lots of the ideas for Dark Souls first came from. It's kinda in the same world.
Bloodborne was a game that looked the same, but the game-play was much much faster. It took me 4 hours just to get to the first "lantern" because I was used to Dark Souls more defensive combat, but you have to be very aggressive in Bloodborne. You have to get close to guys and stay close, and if you take damage you can heal if you hit them back within 2 seconds or something. And, you need to heal. I did get the hang of it and was able to get the Platinum Trophy.
Finally Witcher 3 is a very good fantasy game. Not as gritty or as punishing as Dark Souls, but still a solid game if you like swinging a sword and hunting monsters with a non-linear plot. It's based on aΒ Polish fantasy book series I ended up listening to on tape, the ones that were translated to English.Β It reminded me a little of a well done Gary-Sue, which made it an OK overall book.

Thanks for this exhaustive and very interesting reply !
I bought Bloodborne. Didn't touched it yet, as i'm still trying to get the platinum trophy for Dark Souls 3. (Currently doing the awful "covenant items" grind)
Now, your review makes me very eager to play it.
Salt & Sanctuary looks very good too. It looks more like a game I'd play on a handheld console though.
Demon Souls seems to be only available on PS3, so despite your review, I'm gonna have to pass on this one.
The Witcher 3 seems really good, but I want to explore From Software work before.
I'm really into Dark Souls Lore right now.

I guess you can get a PS3 emulator now:Β rpcs3.net But, yes, I played Demon Souls on a real PS3. It was the first of the Soul Serious, and its lore is like a proto-type for the games to come. As you know, I'm into understanding the basic formals for things. The game also is sometimes "unfair" in difficulty when compared to the newer games. They hadn't quite gotten the "hard but fair" balance down at that point. That game's version of Blighttown is... well, WORSE than Blighttown.
Bloodborne is supposedly also kinda in the same world. In one hidden area of Bloodborne you can see the "Archtrees" from the Souls games, but the story-line is different. I will also tell you that the game play will be super-frustrating when you first start playing it after getting used to the DS3 combat rhythm. The game looks the same, but all of your DS instincts will be wrong for the combat. And, you'll have to unlearn them.

After reading your profile on F-List, I will say its clear our tastes are congruent. While I've never been one for RP, if you have any suggestions of stories I could read, I would be most appreciated.Β
I find it difficult to sate my particular needs.
But, perhaps, that is the curse of living. To be alive means to constantly be craving something. Always seeking satisfaction, and never realizing only the dead can truly know it.
