Always improving my technique. Being a self-taught artist is a little frustrating, but exciting all the same. I'm a terrible speller, so you'll see a LOT of misspelling in my gallery. You'll see some of my original characters floating around here somewhere too.A few things about me:

(Actually that's a bit of a lie. We went to Disneyland, which is typical. It was extremely crowded to the point the park was closed and we weren't allowed in until 7:00pm. Long story...)

Finally enlisted into the marine corps, so I'm waiting to get shipped to bootcamp- my date is January 6th, but it could be sooner or later. I been super busy with training for that, among other life stuff. What about you? I was gonna post a journal about my absence haha.

Things are going all right with me at the moment. I'll probably graduate from UCSD in less than a year, but I haven't decided on a good grad school yet. I'm hoping to do some anthropological research on ancient African civilizations in the future, but beyond that I have no clue on what I want to do with my life yet.

Oh good! What are some good grad schools you know of? Also, I don't know how you can pay for all that. That's partially why I'm enlisting- ain't no way I can pay for all that, especially with the way things are going with the possible increase in student interest rates. Sounds interesting. I might want to get a masters in anthropology later on down the road, but for now I'm just doing a bachelor's while I'm enlisted. Already basically got my AA.

Among the options I have considered are Boston University, UC Santa Barbara, and San Diego State. My parents have a fuckload of money (we're upper-middle class), so money isn't too much of an object for us.

Yeah, I'm still doing art, but I been at a slow down the past few months because so much been going on. Life in general is going good. Getting ready to go into the military in about 4 months, so I been doing some training. What about you?

Yeah haha. xD I'm going into the marine corps. Yeah, I probably will, especially since my job is basically a combat job. Thank you. I don't agree with the U.S. policing the world, but I didn't join the military for that. xD I just want the life experience and discipline. Oh, and school is paid for. xD I pray that the casualties will be low on both sides, but especially for the Syrians- I don't want innocent people over there to get hurt over politics. Oh good! Sounds like your job is keeping you way more busy. Yeah, I know what you mean; art is my passion, but I gotta get make money to pursue my passion. xD Good good.

Life experience and discipline you say. I'm sure you'll get that. I've got cousins in the army, both for different countries. One for the states, the other UK. Well I don't have family that I know of in Syria or Middle East. But I must say you're probably a really strong woman. All the best out there
