No me refiero a eso.
En esa carpeta selecciono todo el fanart que me gusta. Y el fanart implica apropiarse de un personaje o mundo ya establecido. No hay ningún problema si se reconoce al autor intelectual. Pero legalmente uno no puede conseguir dinero del trabajo intelectual de otros. También el fanart enriquece a un personaje o universo.

Yo sé que no haces dinero. Y si, el fanart es por lo general un tributo (podría ser parodia, burla, crítica, etc.).
Pero sigue siendo apropiación, aunque el trabajo mostrado sea tuyo, te haces de un que no es tuyo. Tampoco es que tengas que pedir permiso, y no estoy dándole una connotación negativa. Además es muy común.
Y esto puede ser tan inocente como un niño dibujando, y es parte de la naturaleza humana, aunque el concepto aparentemente sea moderno, partir la creatividad desde la apropiación de elementos ya existentes.

Por cierto, estoy realizando mi tesis con este tema.

Bueno, entiendo, pero "apropiación" suena a que tomas un arte, lo dibujas y dices que es completamente mío. :3
