How does henna work? Because I read on your comments about glue and stuff.

I've always thought henna was beautiful but I have no clue how it works to be honest.

Henna is actually a plant/tree, and the paste is made by crushing its leaves (and adding other natural extracts like tea). This is then put in a cone like in [link] or in a squeezy tube, and then squeezed out to form patterns as you can see in my shots. Then you wait for it to dry (a couple of hours, usually) and it will crumble off, leaving behind a reddish-brown stain that gets darker the next day and then starts to fade away after a few days ^^

I hope that will help understand what henna is! ^^
