hey there,

for vectors I use Flash, Freehand, and a little photoshop for things like text effects. I also use Microsoft Paint to create the pixel looking stuff. I usually do it really small, then blow it up.

cool... well I started out mostly using PSP becuase I found Adobe software way too complicated and scary^_^ but, I recently aquired a copy of Illustrator... I'm still getting used to it. I'm basicaly a n00b to vectoring but it feels like something I should have started ages ago cos... all my friends seem to think I'm really good at it ^_^
I've still got alot of techniques to master... but maybe someday I'll be as good as you

I started doing graphics when psp5 came out, so i understand the intimidation of adobe software. the truth is that photoshop works just like paint shop pro, but with different places to find everything. there are certainly other differences, but you can do the same things in both progs if you know how. im glad you're getting into illustrator. i must say i haven't had much experience with it as of yet, but it looks pretty cool.

your friends are right about you being good at vectoring. the few of yours that ive seen are just beautiful. that one girl in the bluish grey is awesome. you've got a nice sense of realism, too. i admit i lack that. and as far as being "as good as" me, you're already better than i am doing people in vector, so it seems pretty relative. you've got a lot going for you in your gallery, just keep building it up.
