The young dragon fell through a belt of storm clouds. Icy rainwater drenched him, jolting him partly awake. He groaned, thrashing, only to get pummeled by loose stones and clumps of dirt, choking dust, and freezing mud. There were islands nearby, but they seemed to be falling apart before his eyes, disintegrating into the churning storm.

Return of Mecha Sally Epilogue comic fund driveReturn of Mecha Sally is easily the best Sonic Fan comic I've ever read.Β
However, the ending was rushed and cut short due to real life time constraints of the artist.Β
Right now I'm ironing out the details of commissioning an epilogue to tie up loose ends.Β
However,Β http://spikethehellhog.deviantart.com Spike The Hedgehog, has made crystal clear he won't budge on his condition of $150 (one hundred and fifty United Sates dollars) per page.Β
With the epilogue as it stands now being ten (10) pages long, which would result in the entire commission costing a whooping $1,500 dollars!Β
I love the comic. But that's too deep a cut into my funding.Β
So I'm basically running a "telethon" of sorts, seeing if there any other fans of the comic out there who are willing to chip in and share the burden. The money would be shared via PayPal. There won't be any actual donations what so ever until AFTER enough people have promised enough colle

Bitter taste of failureThings are not going well on my end, and this isn't really helping matters.
Look, I don't really mind if people don't have time and have more pressing concerns to deal with, and I'm not seeking attention. But what really disheartens me is that it seems all of my efforts had been wasted.
I spent literally weeks working on that prologue for that round-robin, going through four drafts before hitting the right one and making sure everything was presentable. I wanted to see it grow into something big, like my pal :iconAlexWarlorn:'s Ponies and Dragons (Just Have Fun) round-robin.Β
And yet, apart from one entry by good o' :iconTrooper924:, not to mention some comments and faves by just a few others like :iconMagicMan001:, :iconJarkes: and :iconArdashir:, I got nothing but damning silence for over a week.Β
Of course, it's more likely because I'm not exactly as notable as my pals, so it wouldn't have as enthusiastic a response as Alex's work had. But what really made me depressed is

Like BluRider pointed out, there's no exposition at all. The only other thing i feel is missing is that i didn't really retain either Stocking or Scanty's personality well (Panty's personality is easier to do: she's a slut with a short temper, which came off as the better dialogue in that whole story)
That's part of the reason why my next story (a contest entry) is going to focus on One Piece. Characters i know back-to-front and who are quite well-developed.
