You have great details in your art but i leave you with a little advice: Don't draw characters just from the side or front because you will get used to that and it IS bad for you, believe me.

I'm not affraid to die. I think to an extent we all are though. Its like what the famoue psychologist BF Skinner advocates, behavior is learned. Or opperant conditioning if you will. SO I agree with you that we are tought to be affraid.

"Keep everyone affraid and they'll consume" referst to how people are constantly keep in fear by society, friends, family,ect... that they are inadiquate, or that they are in harms way.
Fear that you wont be cool enough because you dont have a better car. Fear that the girl you like wont fuck you because you dont look like the models in the magazines and on TV. Fear that you could die from harmful air born bacteria in you home because you dont have a 200 dollar air filter.
People then go out and buy useless shit that they think will make then feel more "safe" and more "cool" or good-looking. People are scared into thinking this because the media endlessly shows us these adds, movies, ect... that make us feel inferior.
