specific hmm. I can send you my very very first artworks I did ( last month ) , you can have a look at them
and give me advice.

for example ,I got this kind of layer structure

light ( negative multiply or "screen" )
shadows (multiply)
basic color
white layer

I just have started and really don't know what kind of specific question I can ask you hehe
what do you use to make your details ?

I generally do all my painting in 1 layer, and then if I need corrections I made a multiply layer to darken and overlay to lighten/change color. When I paint figures, I use the solid, round brush with opacity fade almost 95% of the time. That includes any detailing I do. Sometimes I will use different brushes to render things like stitches or patterns, if I am pressed for time.
