# About me

I live in Olathe, Kansas. I love The Doctor (Doctor Who, you ask?).
Currently working on a zombie dramedy called 'Deadsville', which I plan on getting to a company at some point, as well as a daily journal regarding my own 'experience' of surviving in the Deadsville universe that's been...less than daily.
Also working on a project called 'Desperado', a supernatural western set in the dystopian post-proliferation United States of the future, with the supernatural being explained semi-sci-fi-ly. Is that a word? Spell check isn't catching it if it's not.
Also working on 'Talon', set in the same universe as Desperado but without most of the supernatural aspects.
Show me your literature!

Oh, it's only a coincidence, I'm sure.
I mean two different people can't possibly come up with the same story now could they?

I don't know man, I mean they're pretty damn similar. Guess I'll just have to stick around, read all your stuff, build up a rapport, talk about zombies, anime, Batman Beyond, because you strike me as the kinda guy who'd dig those.

Hmm...Soul Eater seems to be my favorite as of now. Pretty awesome characters, kooky plot, and amazing settings.

Oooh, sounds tasty. Y'know, a friend of mine (Captain Anime, among our group) had a HOTD marathon sunday night, pretty nice show. He also put on Full Metal Panic, I was surprised with it. Slow to start, took a bit to build interest, but pretty cool once you get in.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Zeritanos In reply to zilla19982 [2012-01-19 02:25:52 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I tend to avoid anime's that have tons of different "universes". FMP, Evangelion; Fullmetal Alchemist not so much because there's only two versions of it.
Speaking of HOTD, I really should catch up on that series...what episode is it up to now? And was this English dub or sub?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to Zeritanos [2012-01-19 03:15:09 +0000 UTC]

I can understand that, inconsistencies must abound.
It's up to 12 (season 1's done, 2 is supposedly out this winter, slated as last December, obviously pushed back). English dub, but I got it on netflix.

Zeritanos In reply to zilla19982 [2012-01-05 02:39:15 +0000 UTC]

Eh, it was okay. Better than Texas at least, so I have no complaints.
And a blow-stuff-up mass you say?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to Zeritanos [2012-01-07 23:24:28 +0000 UTC]

Well hey, that's good. Your experience at Texas sounds like it would be...fun.

Why yes, Kansas has crazy-strict fireworks laws (ie, you can't have them...odd, given the strong NRA presence here), thus whenever we're in Missouri I buy metric shit tons of explosives and have a hell of a time!

Short anecdote, one of my cousin's friends came down last fourth of july and used roman candles (weaksauce, right?) and ended up burning our neighbors boat cover off. Needless to say, he's not returned.

Hey, I know it's been a while since my last reply. Rest assured, I haven't forgotten about it. Just been prepping for finals. I'll have my full reply by the end of next week. Until then, Happy Holidays.

zilla19982 In reply to RockmanNeos [2011-12-13 05:46:01 +0000 UTC]

Hey man, more than completely understand. I myself am bogged down by finals (no ) and if I'd known I was adding that much more to your plate, believe me I would have gone for a more opportune time.
That said, thank you much for your assistance, I hope all goes well with your finals and that no surprise questions you were 'supposed to know' pop up in Bio Good luck and Happy Holidays

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RockmanNeos In reply to zilla19982 [2011-12-14 02:45:04 +0000 UTC]

Oh you weren't adding anything I couldn't handle. I've been working on the replies bit by bit since I got them while I was breaking from studying (study, read the messages a little, write for the reply a little, play Minecraft...a lot...) so it's fine.
And you and me both on the surprise questions. I swear, I've studied pretty much everything for this final, so if there's one thing on there that we haven't covered, I'll know and proceed to throw my papers in the air, kick the table down and walk out. Like a boss.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to RockmanNeos [2011-12-15 02:40:25 +0000 UTC]

Well I'm glad to hear that, then.
Bahaha XD that literally made me laugh out loud, because I'm fairly certain I'll do the same in my APGov class...those questions are always SO. DAMN. OBSCURE!
So how's your writing been going? Any tantalizing ideas percolating within your cerebrum lately?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RockmanNeos In reply to zilla19982 [2011-12-15 04:37:56 +0000 UTC]

Glad to hear I brightened your day.
And my final was actually a lot easier than I had anticipated. I had spent a good week studying and getting into the fine detail of Biology, only to find out that the test could have been given to high school students. I mean...really? What the fuck, teach?
As for writing, nothing yet. I have one more final to do tomorrow, but after that, I'll be free to start writing again and have the full reply to your messages.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to RockmanNeos [2011-12-17 06:20:23 +0000 UTC]

Well that's very good. Not very good, seeing as the time studying could have been put to other finals or Skyrim, but it coulda been worse...coulda done Skyrim and wound up having some insane questions that a bio major would've struggled with.
Well I certainly hope you creative juices get flowing over the next few weeks, I'd love to read some more of your work.
Hope your other finals went well, man.

And we still gotta do that Batman Beyond marathon!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RockmanNeos In reply to zilla19982 [2011-12-19 14:47:52 +0000 UTC]

Sadly I don't have an Xbox, so I don't have Skyrim.
On the other hand, I DO have a Wii and am planning to get Skyward Sword on Christmas, but I still could have gotten it sooner.
And we do! I'm not entirely sure when I'll be available to do it though, seeing as I'll be leaving for Texas on the 21st.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to RockmanNeos [2011-12-24 03:58:12 +0000 UTC]

Gah! Y U NO Have Xbox?!?!?! But Skyward Sword looks pretty epic, so I may have to purchase it, if for no other reason than to make my collection of Wii games...less lonely...
So you're already out to the nice weather while I'm getting into nice(er than Chicago) weather, I see. Well then....this poses predicaments, but none that can't be sorted--probably. When do you get back in?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RockmanNeos In reply to zilla19982 [2011-12-24 22:11:45 +0000 UTC]

Because I'm poor
And I have to have Skyward Sword because my inner Zelda fan will not tolerate an incomplete collection!
Yeah, I should be back around the 27th-28th. And then I might be going to Minnesota for New Years. Life of a military kid, I guess. Family everywhere. Ah well, not much I can do about that.
As far as when I'll be back in Missouri for good, I would say most definitely before the 17th, and that's when classes pick back up again, so I should have a good week of 'me' time. Which would also give me time to reply to those notes!
Holidays...gotta love 'em.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zilla19982 In reply to RockmanNeos [2011-12-29 05:27:43 +0000 UTC]

Sorry for the length between replies, man. Very long tale that's less than interesting.
So, how was Texas? Heard some of it actually got snow, more than I can say for us up here.
Lol, well shiznits! We're going out to the lake tomorrow for NY, back on the second, and back in school the 5th I think (holy piss that's coming up a bit too quick, and I have a bad sized assignment to do (yay procrastination!)), not that anything of worth will actually get done in a two day week, so it's kinda dumb. But hey, highschool is nothing if not kinda dumb. So...weekend, perhaps? Damn education, foiling plans and such.
I didn't know you're a military kid! Air Force, I assume?
BTW, you figured where you're transferring to after this next semester yet? I'm looking at KU and ASU, myself. Pros and cons for both; good for film and writing, KU's got plenty of diversity, but ASU's got some of the best looking ladies in our 50 fine states. Conundrums...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RockmanNeos In reply to zilla19982 [2011-12-29 19:47:57 +0000 UTC]

Texas was...well...throw a die-hard Christian family who don't know how to raise their kids, a karaoke machine, and screaming, and you'll have my stay in Texas.
And in the part of Texas I was in, we didn't get snow. Just lots and lots of rain.
As for your high school, is it one of those A and B day schools? Because my high school did the same to try and cram as much studying as they could into one semester. Stupid, but efficient.
For us hanging out, I really don't see myself doing anything the 7th, unless college decides to throw a crap ton of stuff at me. I think it's going to have to come down to a "we'll have to wait and see", which sucks because I hate waiting.
Actually, I'm a Navy and Marine Corp kid. Dad's Navy, Mom's ex-Marine, so I didn't have the luxury of an Air Force upbringing.
Sadly, I've been looking at UCM myself. I've heard that the writing program there is top notch.
And I recommend that you save the ladies for later. No sense in getting into half assed classes and shortening your potential.
