Indeed. I know someone with a remarkably similar SN to my fanfic penname, who I have run into several times in totally different fandoms. We've taken to yelling "Imposter!" at each other whenever we post on the same LJ comm.

It's ironic, I actually have met someone IRL (<3Kali) who has the same first name as I, an older sister with the same name as mine, was brought up the same religion, has a similar sense of humor, and relatively similar interests. That was a very interesting coincidence of meeting.

My friend shares the same first and last name with someone else on campus (they're both fairly common names). Last year he kept getting the other guy's court summons for selling weed and stuff... We like to imagine that he looks just like my friend, but with a goatee.
