# About me

An aspiring artist, illustrator and creative, drawing on elements of surrealism, enchanted dreams and cyborg-esque nautical creatures. With influences from travel, the uncanny, the eerily beautiful, psy-culture, Dali and the human form, Sophie is a keen and colourful artist living with her two kittens in a small cottage in the Somerset countryside. When she is not painting or drawing she likes to read and watch 'slice-of-life' films.

I like that you use the combo of watercolor and other techniques, like that biro thing which I have no idea about what it is, but looks like its for making smooth thinner black lines, so the combo of the big blurred colorful stains and the smooth black lines is what I like. In short...xD
That is a combo btw that I'm planning on using some time... hope I get that far. Keep up the good work and good luck!

thank you very very much! you don't just have to use a biro, it would work with any pen really, like a ballpoint pen or even pencil. but biro is what i tend to use just to doodle, and then sometimes doodles turn into bigger pictures, like most of my work here. good luck on experimentation! and thanks for the feedback!
