Thanks for your time, and yes benares is an amazing place.. One of the oldest and holiest cities in India.. full of religious sadhus, the only place in Asia where three rivers meet at one place :) (Smile)

i saw mary ellen mark's photos of benares back from the early 90s...it sounds like a very sensitive place in terms of what it is known for but appears strikingly beautiful...do you know what the consensus on photography is in that area?
