Description Our latest collaboration with =iMUDa1 - we just can't get enough of AsileFX Jungle pack
It took more than 25 hours to render, but it was worth this time

Vue 8 Infinite + PS CS4 for minor postwork

Thanks for viewing!

I appreciate every comment and ...but since it is a collab with=iMUDa1 , if you this, please be fair and his submission too at [link] - he has just as much work in it as I do. Thank you!

Phew - just where is that 'Fav ALL' button?

dA need to sort one of those out especially for you and your bf!

Individual fav'ing is making my fingers sore.

I espacially love that blue mood of the render!! And the lens glare, and that fog and...well, let's just say everything! lol

I just pointed something...look at the closest leaves on the right, I don't know if it's just me, but it seems they wew cut out from somewhere...but hey, I'm not sadistic to make you render another 25h just to fix it! haha xD

Amazing pic as always Drea!!

Not too crazed on the tree on the left, but that's just a Vue limitation anyway and pretty much beyond your control unless you want to shell out the cash for an expensive Xfrog model (though I think while Vue does broadleaf trees and plants very well, outside plant generators definetily beat it in conifers and palms ) the tree just off the middle in the front looks great though

True, but as I told =Random007 , the best choice would be xFrog, but trust me this scene was so heavy for both of our Vue's, we hardly could navigate and every little action took long minutes....xFrog would have just made it worse

The atmosphere and terrains visible through the trees are the highlights - those terrains are very good indeed. Pity about those sharp angles on the vine-things on the left but close-up Vue vegetation often disappoints - it's designed for the vast ecosystems you see behind. The flowers on the left are a welcome touch of colour.

Yeah, you're right about the foreground vegetation; the best choice would be xFrog, but trust me this scene was so heavy for both of our Vue's, we hardly could navigate and every little action took long minutes....xFrog would have just made it worse

Random007 In reply to 00AngelicDevil00 [2009-12-28 18:44:26 +0000 UTC]

I know. I've had vastly simpler scenes that make my computer (a Core2 Quad which this time last year was about the most powerful thing around) become pausing, stuttering wreckage. The only solution, IMHO, is postwork and I hate the idea of doing that kind of smear and re-paint stuff.
