Description It happened to be quite cold, so there was still dew left on the opening buds... I'm not sure if they actually are cherry blossoms, but I like the word sakura so let's go with that anyway! ^^ It felt as if they had been crystalized

Responding to your request for critique in the forum.
I really like this photo a lot, one of my favourite from your gallery. I'm kind of bad at explaining things, but there are a few things that you could tweak to make the picture pop a little more. I did it, and I posted here in a private album on my photobucket: [link]
I'll delete it as soon as you respond, I just wanted to illustrate what I meant. In Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, I first adjusted the hue. I upped the master hue about 30, upped the blue and green a bit, and lowered the red by about 18. Then I adjusted the curves, making the shadows darker and the brights a bit brighter. The midtones got a kick up in brightness as well. Then I used the time machine photo effect: cross process at 30%.
In this and in many of your photos, just a simple curves/contrast adjustment can do wonders. I hope this was helpful and that I didn't overstep the boundaries. As I said, I'll delete the photo upon your response.
Happy shooting!

Ooo wow Thank you for all of that advice! I was looking for a programme, so you would recommend this one? Your critique is much appreciated ^^

I would definitely recommend it! Here's a link to download a trial: [link]
Click the "Paint Shop Pro Photo X2" trial button. You have to create an account, but it's Corel, so they're legitimate and won't spam you.
I also, naturally, advocate PhotoShop, but this program is fun and has a lot of options; try it out if you'd like.
