A Gryphon and his RiderLook, something´s in the sky
See how majestic it can fly
A beatiful creature that I see
And I got the feeling, my heart is free
I really must deny
I cannot trust my eye
If it would just come to me
Is it real? I need to see
Like a lion so royal and with eagle´s grace
I want to see it face to face
Fured body, featherd wings and head
No theeth but a giant beak instead
They are looking so proud
And I´m screaming out loud:
"Please fly over here
You dont need to fear"
I am not about to harm you
We could be a team of two
I take care of you and you of me
How beatiful this could be
A gryphon and his rider
I will call you Slider
You will be my best friend
Much time with you to spend
To stay with you forever
We´ll have much fun together
We explore both sky and land
Only horizon will be the end
Now it´s out of sight
And it´s already night
At home I will dream my dream
Of you and me, ... A team

well, maybe that will be a pain for you as well, yu see I write it directly in english, I do not translate
If you translate things the effect might get lost
if you do i would say it´s better in the language you also wrote it in - translating poems and prose is a hard thing to do if you want to maintain the effect

That's true. Luckily, I've written some of my poems in English. And I may upload some of my Finnish poems even though nobody will understand what they're about. xD
