Description In the Philippine folklore, it is translated as Mambabarang or sometimes Mankukulam. The two has small differences in between but commonly percieved as evil because of divination, they usually use black magic or curse spells to hurt or take revenge on somebody. But in my version they are no longer that evil, i gave it a twist, unlike the typical scary looking witches or mangkukulam. I want her to be kinda friendly to all monsters and selective to humans.

Her summons are (from left to right) The Kapre, a giant dude who lives on large trees, typically a Banyan or Balete tree. The Manananggal, they are monsters mostly female, when the clock hits 12 midnight, the upper body of a lady will detatch, splitting in half, and they mostly feed on fetus with their long proboscis-like tongue, usually from a rooftop of a hut. The white Lady, is a spectre of a lady or woman, they usually suddenly appear in the middle of the road or at the backseat of your car, hair covered all over the face and wears super white clothes, i think there is a western equivalent for these. Then that little doggy like creature, The Sigbin. Sigbins are really strange creature and they have a strange (and quite funny) stance when they are attacking a victim. There are numerous Filipino folklore creatures out there and they are interesting to be drawn, the evil side and the good side creatures and other neutral mischievous ones. Typically they are told by a Grandmother or Grandfather to little children and sometimes friends. haha Nostalgic!
