Description Like other vultures, the Griffon Vulture is a scavenger, feeding mostly from carcasses of dead animals which it finds by soaring High above in the African Blue, often moving in flocks until it notices the corpse of a recent kill.

Then it's dive, dive, dive! Like an arrow to the ground! Fight, hiss fight! Feed, fight, feed!

Hatched naked, it is a typical Old World vulture in appearance, It grunts and hisses when feeding on carrion. Fending off any other vulture who dare approach the kill.

Thanks once again CheeTree! That Basil and that bone was was a very meaty rib bone about 10 minuets prior to the shot being taken they don't waste anything! I like to think of them as Natures Caretakers.
