So this image came into my mind after watching a few too many TMNT episodes and realizing "Wait a sec...isn't April usually coupled with Casey?" In the new TMNT series on nick they've been leading us on with the Donnie and April cuteness. But I have a feeling that that sadly might end when Casey enters the picture. Poor Donnie. We've all been there.I mean I love Casey, like a lot actually he's so neat! But Donnie and April are so cute! Gahhhh
So here's just a quick colored drawing...
Just a note, the goodbye in the title refers to both Casey's goodbye till I see you again hug, and Donnie saying goodbye to the idea that April will love him back...
Just felt like explaining that

TNH, this Casey is a tad crazy when compared to the other Casey's in the TMNT Multiverse.
(Yes, after the 1987 Turtles have crossed over THREE TIMES, I am convinced of an expanded Turtleverse)
I can't really see the 2012 series April and Casey having any real chemistry.
Not like the kind April has had with Donatello, which has developed as the series went on.

I don't really like Aprilx Donnie. I think their cute, but i don't think that a couple relationship will work out. Also, I wonder what would have happened if they didn't de-age April. Wouldn't it be akward to have a romance btw those 2. I do think he'll find true wuv with Irma!!<3

Poor Donnie...The pairing's cute, though it might be for the best. It's one thing if April had those same feelings for Donnie, but she may only see him as a brother and just wanna be friends. Still.....Donnie can love her, but since she's human and he's a mutant *And their society's not big on mutants and etc.* it may not work...*not saying it's not possible that it would..but still* Plus with the Shredder and other enemies of the turtles out there...they could use April against Donnie, putting her in more danger. Donnie can still love April, but it's important not to hurt the ones he loves and cares for.
I can't wait to see Casey entering the 2012 franchise...I really wanna see how he and Donnie interact, especially when it comes to April. Who knows....there might be an episode where Splinter tries to get the both of them to understand why they shouldn't fight over a woman...considering his experience.
