so you have been gone for a while? I always really liked your work, what is wrong with your camera? I have my canon and hubby has his Kodak and for Christmas I got a underwater camera, olympus tg-1 that I will be using when I take the grand kids to the pool and it will be great going out in the snow. Im leery of taking the canon out in the cold and now I can go out in the cold and rain, which I love, and take pics. Cant wait for it to rain! lol.

My Olys all died. I loved the Olympus brand, but the last one I bought wasn't the quality of the prior versions. I bought a Canon Rebel T3i, but then gave it to my eldest daughter, who is an artist and needed a good cam for her work. My husband and I just bought a Nikon D 3200, which arrived home just a few days ago. Meanwhile, I'm in Oregon (3000 miles away), and haven't had a chance to try it out. I'm using my daughter's Canon while I'm out west.
Your new cam sounds fun!

oregon is a great place to take pics and Ill have to go look to see if you submitted anything. I really want the top of the line canon, the mark D dont know what number its up to now but in the thousands and something I really dont need since this is just a hobby but would be nice... Maybe if I was younger and getting into photography. Cant wait to see what the nikon will produce..... When the grandkids come over they always like to take pics and this way they can use the camera and I dont have to follow them around like I do when they use the canon. They are getting better at it and they know they cant use it unless they put the strap around their neck and hold the lens with their free hand.
