here is my 2nd entry into The EVstar's Care Bear Scuba Challenge.
Lets see... underwater? check, Care Bears using scuba gear? check, Nelvana version? check. also I added a little back story to the picture. ahem... Care-A-lot had fallen into some hard times. the kingdom of caring has been in need of repair for many years. the caring meter has been on the fritz plus all the cloud cars are in the shop. How are they going to pay for all these repairs? it's not like gold stars magically fall out of the sky.....

moving on. In an Emergency meeting of the Care Bears and Care Cousins Tenderheart bear announces the formation of a treasure hunting team in order to off set the cost of repairs to the Kingdom of Caring. The Captain of the team is Tenderheart(self-proclaimed) Bedtime Bear joins in with a stretch and a yawn thinking that it will be easy to find treasure on the ground and take a nap in the process. Hugs and Tugs Join the team( who have grown to rambunctious youngsters. They haven't been called "Baby" in at least five years. Tugs cringes everytime any of the care bears accidentaly puts the word "baby" in front of his name, hugs doesn't mind much thinking it's still cute.) So their first mission is in an uncharted ocean in Care-a-lot. Tenderheart bear and Bedtime bear belt on scuba tanks and dive masks and go over the side of the ship. Hugs and Tugs have not had any scuba training, but they are good swimmers and tagged along anyway. true to his name bedtime bear drifts of to sleep in the soft sand of the ocean floor, while hugs and tugs follow Tender Heart to a curious looking chest with a gold heart lock on it. True to his name Tugs grabbed onto the lock with both paws and tore it off the chest.

Tenderheart opened the chest and to everyones amazement(well everyone except bedtime bear) they found it full of gold hearts. after hauling the chest onto the ship they brought it back to care-a-lot, and after brightheart raccoon did some figuring(he worked as Care-a-lot's accountant) he found that this was enough to pay for all thier repairs and then some.
and all the Care Bears and Cousins rejoiced and held a big party( which cost more than the golden hearts were worth)
