I don't think I've ever ever drawn these two, even though they've been my OTP for almost as long SasuHina and GaaHina, how embarrassing... Everyone ships Zutara and I've been asked a few times if I do too but nooo, these two are the ones that have my heart, in ATLA anyway haha. So I definitely promise to draw them more, gotta show my babies some love! Maybe in fire nation clothes next time around, cause as much as I love these two in green (their clothes from Ba Sing Se were so cool, Zuko and Toph were so cute, Toph with her braids and I loved how short Zuko's hair was back then), they both look so much better in RED, especially Toph! Her fire nation outfit was my fave
Anyways I always thought of Zuko and Toph meeting while in Ba Sing Se, but not knowing they were who they were. I imagine Toph going to the Tea shop and enjoying a chat with Iroh, and Zuko having just returned from his date with that one girl, which is why he's still in the same clothes and not wearing an apron (nah I just really like that outfit best and i forgot to add his apron...), but yeah he thinks Toph is pretty and wants to find out her name, and Toph is wondering why the guy behind her's heart is going into overdrive. Lol and even though he doesn't get a chance to talk to her at all, or gets her name, and never sees her again (so he thinks), he sometimes thinks back to the cute girl laughing and cracking jokes with his uncle back when he was in Ba Sing Se, not knowing that same girl is Toph even as they joke and laugh together haha, Toph was born blind but in Zuko's case you can be blind in more ways than one XD
I don't own either of the characters or they'd obviously be canon :'D

So you were the one who posted this on tumblr! I often check the Toko tags there to see new fan arts and whatnot then I saw this. You have no clue how I spazzed out with happiness when I found this! Yes, please keep drawing more Toko! I refuse to believe Satoru is her hubby, he's just a mere fanboy who boost her ego too much for me!

What a wonderful art style~ so beautiful i can't even-- AND THE TOKOness
it's really hard to find toko goodness 'cause pretty much everyone would turn to zutara or tokka or maybe some yaoi/yuri like zukaang or katophSo there isn't much for this crack pairing. It also pisses me off when people say they can't be together because of the age difference. I MEAN SERIOUSLY! I've seen people ship characters that are 19 years apart and i don't have a problem with that. It also annoys me when someone posts a drawing or video that's ment for ToKo yet other people like zutarians just come and say that ToKo sucks and that the particular pairing they ship is way better.
Well, back to your art , it's so lovely i just want to asdfghjkl i wuv it soooooo much. I still have my heart set on ToKo and you've made me LOVE this shipping more~~GAHH!!!! Both of 'em are my favorite and they just seem too alike. I also like to believe that they are Uncle Teapot's favorites OH PLZ DRAW MORE~~~

And I know what you mean, but sorta kinda? Like I know why people don't like our ship but I've never really met a mean Zutara shipper or someone dissing Toko outright but that's probably cause Toko is more of a passive ship for me. So I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I don't really care for other ships other than my own but I understand the feeling when someone can't do the same and has to attack us little ships with their many theories and canonness, like we can't be happy doing our own thing already when we have so little compared to them :c
I'm so glad though that you still love Toko, especially after all this time and with the end of the series, it's so nice to know there are still some Toko fans. Since I understand a lot have switched to Tokka and the unfaithfulness kinda bugged me a bit, but I'd be a hypocrite if i said i don't do the same (I ship several people with one person a lot haha, Toph's one of them XD). But I agree, I think they have a lot more in common than the series chose to show, and it's too bad they didn't get a chance to develop, at least as friends, especially since like you said they're Uncle Teapot's favorites XD

Yeah, things have gotten hectic around the "shipping" world. There are many "wars" going on with ATLA, but meh, can't really do much about it.
Sure, i respect all shippings in every anime show but it bugs me to here this and that about why this particular person can't be together with this other random person ( i find it amusing though that there can also be problems with pairing people up even if they are fictional, the seriousness throughout every otaku or shipper

I know, Zutara fans are so spoiled, they've got such wonderful fanart and fanfictions, lol they're so lucky! But I'll definitely try, I love Toko and I honestly don't care for the age gap (I swear they're like only 4 years apart) but it's a little harder to draw fanart for them without crossing a certain line (without altering their ages anyway...), but I love them so I'll definitely try. But thank you! I'm so happy to meet a fellow Toko shipper, I actually drew this for myself and another friend since we're the only ones we know that ships the ship, so it's nice to know we're not alone
And maybe... I know what kind of Toko I wanna do next but I'm totally out of ideas for SasuHina (nah I'm just lazy haha) but hopefully in the future ^-^

YES! Finally! A ZukoxToph picture! Toph is by far my most favorite female character in this show and Zuko was.. well, he was -is- hot! Especially with his hair like that! I always liked it when he was trying to be serious, but ended up being funny instead!

Lol I always thought there was something wrong with me because I shipped these two I'll always love them no matter what but I'm so glad you do too, I only knew like one other person who shipped them but after posting this it's so nice to know a lot more people ship Toko than I thought
But haha I know what you mean, that's how I kinda came to shipping them, Toph is my absolute favorite and she's just so amazing and I thought the only one worthy of her was Zuko haha, but in the end I found that it totally works and I was a total goner XD

I LOVE Toko lol, but I guess I'm not so obvious about it cause everyone is either a Tokka or Zutara fan so I kinda hesitate but I'm so happy to know you ship them and SasuHina and GaaHina too, you have no idea how rare that is! I have only met one other person who ships more than three of the same ships as me and finding out you do too just makes me so giddy with happiness, the more the merrier! Thank you though, and don't worry, I plan on more Toko in the future, I really wanna draw all my ships at least once it just took a while for me to do Toko haha, doesn't mean I love them any less though lol

Yeah Toph is my fave too, and Zuko was my favorite dude. Naturally I shipped them together but they turned out looking so good that it became my ATLA otp haha. But thank you, I can't believe a Zutara fan commented but that makes me so happy, goes to show that not everyone who ships a different pairing is out to get you, that or you're just really nice hehe ^-^
