A study, since that's all I have time for. I still need to work more on texture but for now, lighting and skin was my main focus. Inspired by the Little Prince because it's a beautiful book. I want to read it again, once I have time. Also inspired by my recent bird deaths. There are a lot of mistakes but I was just glad to be able to draw a little bit (though I should technically be doing work. xD)
Also, yes, I stole a photo of some girl holding a cat and stuck a duck in instead. Credit to whoever took the original photo!

I especially love how she's holding a duck instead of something 'typical' like a cat or a puppy. ducks are awesome.

Thanks so much!! <3 I love ducks, too. More than cats or dogs. And not just ducks, but all birds. There is something fragile about them that makes me want to protect them all.
