Thank you, Drea. The next time you go up there you should take the entire loop trail. After you walk behind the fall & round a little bend there will be a spur trail that takes you to the top of the fall. Like I said last time, the back side of that trail is steeper but it is a nice hike down. You run back into the main Brice Creek trail at the bottom & hang a left to head back out to the parking area. Go in spring next year. The flow will be really nice.

I don't know why, but there's something LOTR's about this photo and thus I LOVE it (:

Excellent! Congrats on the wide-angle lens. I need to get back to Upper Trestle... my only two visits were during autumn, and the water flow was feeble.

Thanks, Greg! The flow at Upper Trestle does tend to wane in the late summer. I'm sure the flow was less than spectacular if you went in the autumn before the rain starts. Nice fall though. You should really get back there.

Lots of variation in the greens of the moss surrounding this fall. Thanks for the comment, John!!

I think it is the tree in the side of the frame that reminds me of the Lower Kentucky shot when I look at this one. Thanks, Matthew!
