BIO: An ancient member of the Vas race, D-1118XC, more commonly know by Human soldiers as "Rex", is in fact a part of a Vas subspecies specifically created for combat purposes. Prior to fleeing its home dimension from invaders, it along with few other members of his race were forcibly put into experiments that sought to improve the Vas' natural ability to control their cellular structure, with these invaders seeking to create a powerful force of frontline soldiers. With their advanced technology it took only a matter of time before they became successful and the result of these aggressive changes to its physiology ended with a creature stripped of it's original name and simply branded as Unit D-1118XC.

It was made stronger than its common brethren, able to harden and reshape its body parts in a superior manner to adapt to any combat situation, constructing claws, shields, and any other assortment of tools to fit its needs. With this augmentation it easily could stand up to the like of even the most veteran of Hunters, super humans empowered by an extra-dimensional energy. Strong, fast, and without a doubt deadly, D-1118XC's service to those that brought ruin to its home would never come as a resistance movement managed to free it and other XCs before they managed to successfully take full reign of the Vas' mind.

With the aid of the XCs, the resistance would manage to win a handful of fights but as time passed it was clear that the invaders' numbers were incomprehensible and that defeat would come by way of attrition. With no other options left the Vas would be forced to flee their home utilizing stolen technology, now known as advanced VOID rift tech, which allowed them to tear into alternate dimensions in hopes that they would have enough time to eventually construct the defenses to fend off any potential offenders in future's time in these new safe havens. Among the first waves was D-1118XC serving as their protector.

However, in their travels many Vas managed to absorb the VOID energies in themselves, D-1118XC included, giving them temporary insanity as a result of how the reality bending energy would alter one's perception of the world and should they survive the ordeal be similarly empowered like the Hunters. Due to this, upon arriving to Centauri, they would be branded as mindless beast and sought out as enemies of the humans who resided there. Due to this, humans who once held the title of warlords and rulers became warriors and hunters, using their own power to kill the Vas that came too close to early human cities and settlements. This would be the source of conflict between the two races until an event in CSCP history known as the Heltian Revolution where humans came to realize that they were indeed an intelligent species and that a greater threat loomed beyond the boundaries of their universe.

The Vas' fear of the invaders coming again to wreak havoc in this reality made them see humanity as an ally against the inevitable darkness that laid ahead, prompting them to live in peace with the humans. After nearly a century of heated blood between the two races, it would seem that both society saw either lives of their species equal in terms of worth. Vas soon would earn the rights to partake in the defense of this alliance and no sooner had this become an option D-1118XC, now dubbed as Rex, a name coined by human Hunter, joined the military and quickly established that the legends formed by Hunters of old were in fact a reality.

Strength
Given D-118XC's strength after the experiments forced upon it, being powered by the VOID further pushed its power to new heights. Where's before it was on par with the likes of experienced Hunters, after the event of traversing dimensions it now possessed enough strength to rearrange entire landscapes and cities with nothing but a few strikes. Reinforced buildings meant to handle close proximity nuclear explosions would crumble under the weight of it its strength, Hunters that could survive forces that would tear then modern armor would find themselves critically injured from one swing of it's claws.
