Schumacher had been under heavy pressure from the WB studio to do so and said that his films were made intentionally marketable (or "toyetic") and kid-friendly hence why the actors were potrayed so badly.

That would explain it. Though I'm sure if they had thought about it they could have pulled that off and had half-way decent performances.

Apparently the design models for the Batsuits, Batmobiles and such were licensed to the merchandisers for toy production and on their way to being completed even before the actual building of the onset suits and vehicles began...

I have to say Uma Thurman was a good choice but her role was like Mae West, she mixes true femininity with the winking womanliness of a drag queen. So distanced you feel like youβre watching her through the wrong end of a telescope.

You're Welcome. I'm still wondering who is going to direct the next Batman movie.

I guessing Chris Nolan again. I hope. It was Batman Begins that sucked me into liking it in the first place even before Dark Knight got me going artistically. He makes it all seem believable, which is rare in comic-based cinema. Although campy comic movies are fun, it's refreshing to see it done in a way that could be possible in realm of reality.

I still have to watch The Dark Knight. I got it on DVD a couple of years ago. I should watch it when I get the chance.
I wonder who the villain will be?

I'm hoping they'll have Oswald in there, and maybe Catwoman. I've heard rumours about the Riddler, but honestly I think they save him for another time if they're planning to do more than three movies. You don't want to cram too many villains into one movie.

I've always liked Poison Ivy, she was one of the characters that inspired me to create Kimmiel. It bothered me that Arnold Swartzeneger's performance of Mr. Freeze was too different from te comics.

Well they sort of did a live action Harley Quinn in that Failed TV series, Birds of Prey. In this show, Harley is portrayed as an older, far more calculating and sinister character than her bubbly comic and cartoon personas. She also does not wear a costume, although she does wear an outfit that is reminiscent of her cartoon costume in the series finale, "Devil's Eyes".
