Description
I made this sweet thing at WOMAD this year for a sewing a flag they were making. They gave out patterns in the shape of a flower leaf or a part of a lion’s mane for you to sew on and they’re going to put on a flag to be displayed at future WOMAD festivals.
With that I decided to do a fairy sleeping on a leaf, it took me two days- approximately five or seven hours I think. It was a lot of fun and the people organising the work shop were enamoured so much so that they actually let me pick a place for it on the flag itself.
If anyone is looking for a festival to go next year I really would recommend WOMAD. There’s so much music from around the world, loads of funky little shops that sell interesting stuff like handmade jewellery and crystals. It’s also really safe, no rowdiness or tent burning just a bunch of hippies and their kin just chilling in a field.

I know what this sounds like but I wasn’t paid to say any of this I swear (wish I was truth be told)
