Thank you for writting this. I've been seeing too many positive things about ecstasy in this website. Like if ecstasy is "the shit" ever when it's really a lion in sheeps clothing. It destroys and kills like any other drug yet people keep saying "It isn't as bad as heroine and cocaine"

From personal experience ecstasy is not addictive... its unpredictable but your chances of dying are slim compared to alcohol, herion, cocain, horse riding , extreme sports or the abundents of anti depressants/ sleeping pills the doctors hand out daily but that is just my opinion being someone who has tried uppers, downers and bring me back rounders and does struggle with the line between taking drugs for fun / abusing them in a self destructive manner. The statistics actually prove this if you look how many people die from ecstasy it's not a high Β percentage compared to the amount of people who take it regularly.Β
Legalise recreational drug use and make the streets safe.Β

This is fantastic personification, but I don't like the overstated danger in this piece. You also seem to imply that Ecstasy is addictive and makes you feel like shit when you're not on it. I've taken Ecstasy and you do have the first time being the best right, but I'm not addicted, I haven't taken any in two months with barely a thought, and I've always had great comedowns, even after the drug wore off I felt terrific for days. I do respect what you're trying to do here and what an amazingly written piece this is, but at the same time, I do have a problem with your portrayal of the comedown, addiction and the like.

thankyou for your comment i understand that you yourself may not experience comedowns like me and when i first started with them i didnt either but after 4 years i got bad comedowns and i dont take 2 or 3 i over do it and take up to 15 16 17 sometimes it all depends what pills you have i promise lol but thakyou 4 your comment

if you can buy pure mdma or mda i would recommend it.
for example taking molly press ecstasy or powder form (pure mda), is one of the single most exhillerating and potent and clearminded highs i have ever encountered.
Your dumb for buying shitty press cut with "heroine".
The reason suppliers cut ecstasy with fillaments is too balance the ph level of the substance, and so when they cook it, it forms a more smooth and more commpressable crystalline structure.
plus when they cut with heroine it is only .02 - .09% of the wieght, which even too your annorexic 70 lb body would have no even slightly noticeable effects.
so next time you decide to talk down a beatifull creation learn what the fuck your talking about first dumbass, Fuck you!

I personally like this a lot. I am a user myself [not of ecstacy, sadly as i have yet to find a person to supply]. I have read the comments above and I agree with you. SOmetime drugs can be ever social and fun. I know the cons and pros of every drug, and i have no problem with them.
My personal policy is: We're all going to due anyway. Why not have some fun while I'm at it?
I mean really? What can you really know if you haven't gone out and tried everything? Really, if you don't your just one-sided and dull. Eep that wasn't meant to be mean.

Erm. Is your username supposed to be offensive? Anyway, people who abuse drugs should know about the risks. Only the minority don't. Honestly, I think the vast majority that abuse drugs do it because they want to die. But come on, all you drug abusers out there... jumping off a cliff would be a more glamorous way to die.

Wow is that the REAL reason people abuse drugs? I would have thought many knew the cons outweighed the pros in this case, so why take drugs at all, unless you WANT something bad to happen? Hm. And jumping off a cliff is very exhilarating, really. Have you tried bungee jumping? Anyway, if jumping off a cliff wouldn't kill me, I'd totally take it as an after-school activity.

yh well that's generally why people take drugs to escape from their problems when i smoke cannabis i don't care what's happening in the world or around me i could be getting shouted at and i wouldn't care and with ecstasy my mind is jus in a constant race loads of thoughts run through my head but they are all nice thoughts i dont think about anything bad and i'm just so happy and i also do it to socialise with my friends.

Ecstasy can kill, but the risk is overstated - it's probably less risky than alcohol (which is rather damning with faint praise, of course) or quite a range of prescription drugs or even over the counter drugs (and that's not considering that you can easily buy overdoses of many such things).
But you're right to be wary, and most probably know more than I do about the psychological effects of such things!
