Description Well, this is new territory for me when it comes to DA. I am a lot more active on the Total Drama clubs, but I am branching out. Well, this is my animation on this film, and it truly became one of my favourites. Vanellope does take some time to get used to, and Felix is not the strongest character, but everything gels really well. I am really happy that there is going to be a sequel to this film.

So....tell me how you feel about the film. What other film would you like me to do an Admirable Animation or an Atrocity on. I would like to speak to you.

You can add this to other clubs if you want to.

I really detest Disney, but I admit it's definitely high-tier for their films.

Also for some reason they managed to get a licence from Sega to use Sonic as cameos.

That really was a bunch of bullshit. Brave was seen as worse than a lot of the films released in 2012, but it beat all of them....especially Wreck-it Ralph. I would even say that this is one of the best WDAS films.

This was definitely one of Disney's best movies. It's a shame it doesn't get talked about as much as it did. I mean, I know it does have its problems, like Felix not really growing too much (not that he really needed to), or Ralph's plight being hammered in, but I think for the most part it worked. The cameos worked, but they kept the focus on the story like it should be, and it's a better movie for it. I do have to say the characters were also really diverse and unique from one another for the most part, mainly within the four protagonists. So much better than Frozen in my opinion. (I like Frozen and all, but it's been blown up WAY too much. I also wouldn't call it my favorite Disney Princess film ever.)

Turbo was also a great villain. I definitely won't forget about him.

Hey Optimistic. It has been a while since we have spoken.

It is a shame that it does not get talked about much, because it is not a Disney Princess movie. Felix could have been a bit stronger of a character, and had more traits to him. They really did well with the 4 main characters, and the dynamic between all of them is excellent. I agree that Frozen is WAY overblown, but I am sure I will eventually speak on that film in a review or a meme. I do understand why Ralph's plight was hammered in.

He is a great villain.

Hey man. It has been a while, hasn't it? Sorry 'bout that.

It really is though, but just because it's not a Disney Princess movie doesn't mean it's not worth talking about. Felix could have had more to him other than the 'super nice guy that everyone likes' thing to be honest. The 4 main characters were really handled well, and each of their dynamics with one another really shine through. Frozen really is kind of overblown to be honest. I mean, it's environments aren't too different from the standard Disney Princess fair, only standing out due to the snow, and even then Tangled did it's scenery better. I understand why it is as well, but at some points it feels a little forced in there.

He's Turbo-Tastic!

Say it out loud. I ma not much of a Frozen fan, so I have no issue with you calling it out. This film is definitely better than Frozen. I am shocked that this film appeals to everyone, cause usually these types of films have a specific target group and many others won't like it. I liked the cameos as well, but glad that they did not take over the film and were very minimal.

Yeah, I am sick of that plot repeating itself as well, and sick that they think that every film needs to have an ultimate villain. Ralph did make an extremely selfish decision that could have ruined the game world (which he KNEW would eb a consequence), so I understand why it was so hammered in.

I really need to get around to seeing this movie. You think it was more deserving of the Oscar that year?

You should watch this film. And it definitely deserved the Oscar, especially over Brave. I think you would like it.

Then I shall soon do that.

I liked Brave personally, but it was somewhat underwhelming. Wreck-It Ralph looks more original.

I LOVE this movie, it pleasantly surprised me by how good it was, with the colorful and vivid animation, great characters, etc.

This would be my favorite of the CGI Disney films, and WiR is relatively high on my Disney rankings in general.

I love it, too. Well, mostly because I'm a gamer and that I enjoyed it so much I started collecting the merchandise whenever I have the chance. I can't WAIT for the sequel!

It is a very vivid and colorful film. This is a film that I could not see being in traditional animation. So you like it more than Frozen and Tangled? That is not a common statement.

The 3D really does work, considering most games are animated that way.

Yeah, I mean, I like Tangled, but Frozen...ehhh. I'm so tired of it.

This was the first Disney film in quite awhile that got me really excited and looking forward to see. Sadly I had to wait until it came out on home video but it was definitely worth the wait. Easily the best CG Disney film thus far.

An Animated Atrocity I would recommend if your sticking just to Disney films is either Home on the Range or Chicken Little.

I agree that it is the best CGI film they made; over Tangled, and especially over Frozen. They went outside of the box with this one, and it really works. At least you watched it. Which one is your favourite character?

Noted. I will have fun ripping those films apart. Ugh. Akira suggested The Black Cauldron, so I will have to choose between those 3 atrocities.

Wreck-It Ralph himself or Vanellope.
