Commission for a wonderful and lovely Pia Bardenhagen  introducing first character and also the main character of the queer steampunk book series called "Die Loyalität eines Piraten" (published in Germany)."
I absolutely loved every second of the creating this wonderful illustration for the book!!!

"Raeburn Morgan is a pirate well-known on the seas of the fantasy queendom Zarkoniya. Together with his older lover, the self-proclaimed pirate queen Kiara, he fights against the tyranny and oppression of the mainland queen. At the behest of his lover he sails with a dangerous mission in the unknown and gets captured by the enemies. With his life constantly in danger he fights to stay on track to fulfill his mission - while trying not to loose his heart to the hostile marine officer Adam.

Rae is the main character of the queer steampunk book series called "Die Loyalität eines Piraten" (published in Germany)."
