(The original Terragen file is named Mark. I've been naming them after prophets and apostles. This one is 1872x1872 so the download ought to be worth looking at.)I am kind of melting down and can't cope with communicating right now. I don't want to go into it. Please, please forgive me. If you fave/comment on this I just won't catch it right away.

I did miss uploading for awhile, partly because of computer problems, partly because of depression. Now I have no functional Photoshop so I don't know what I'll be able to upload.

Every time I have a problem, I use my PC's go-back progie & that usually fixes it. Or I fix it myself. I'm pretty far from everything, especially a computer place. If that does'nt work, I threaten it with a brick... Lol. I hope you get it fixed, not good to be without a pc! I woud be lost. There is nothing on TV worth watching. Everything is smut.

You are pretty self-confident to do that. Generally when I have a computer problem I end up calling for help from my toll-free in-house tech support. This batch of problems, however, has been beyond him...and it's a warranty problem.
Grrph, he lost two little screws that hold the case together on it, and we'll be boxing it up and sending it back to HP. I hope we can find those little screws.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I have an H.P. I bought from Overstock.com a couple of years ago & so far no trouble I can't deal with. But I am also doing alot of daily maintenence to make sure all will run smoothly.
I also got a Compaq mini tower from H.P. at Overstock. It runs like a champ. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I have no idea what I could do, but if ya' think of anything, just give me a holler.

I always hit SEND too fast. Thanks for offering to help. Maybe there's something I could do about this one (kicks old computer) but I'm just not very motivated to work on my husband's computer that he's lending me...if I break it he might want MY new computer!

Ah, his pc, I understand completely. I know the software that is available for art now usually won't run on most older PCs. Hope you get yours back real soon.

I think we're just dealing with hardware problems with this old machine and with the new one, as well. I'm going to hold on till HP gets the new one back to me repaired. It's obviously at the very least a BIOS/CMOS problem as it gives plaintive beeps when turned on now. The HP tech thinks it's the motherboard and Bill does too. At least it's nothing I really COULD have fixed on my own...so I don't feel so bad about not figuring out how to fix it before my husband took over.
