With Peter now living with his Aunt and Uncle and Cousin he threw himself deeply into his studies becoming a super nerd expert on nearly every subject. This didn't do well for his social life. He became an introvert, even more so than Clark. When he reached the age of a highschooler these traits would put him in the crosshairs of school bullies like Flash Thompson. Clark would also be picked on whenever he was around Peter, but would never be Flash's first pick for a mark. Somehow though Peter managed to make a friend out of local rich boy Harry Osborn as Harry's dad has hired Peter on as a science tutor for his son and the two boys actually got along great together. Clark also managed to make a friend in Gwen Stacy. With Peter tutoring Harry, Clark had to be a tutor by someone else and luckily Gwen was willing to take the job. Eventually, all four would meet up and became a group of friends, Peter felt an instant kinship with Gwen and developed a crush on her, but secretly worried that she may have her eyes on Clark instead. That wasn't the only problem in Parker's love life as May would try to set both boys up with their next-door neighbor Mary Jane who neither had ever met in person. Clark tried once to meet her just to be polite but she never showed and he's been avoiding meeting her ever since and both boys would constantly try to get off any blind dates May would try and set up. Peter's love for science would keep growing and was especially excited when Harry managed to set up a class trip to his father's main lab. If only Peter had known the change it would bring to both him and his cousin.
