Previously on Another Stark

“Where did you find him?” (Y/N) asked.

“He actually helped lead us to where you were, without him we would have probably had a harder time finding you” Steve mentioned, ruffling the boy’s hair in gratitude.

“That’s kind of weird, I didn’t think he cared” (Y/N) muttered.

“Why is that?” Tony asked, picking (Y/N) up and beginning to make his way out the cell.

“His mother was one of my captors” (Y/N) said, “But Daddy you probably won’t believe me-“

(Y/N) was not able to finish her sentence, as both Khione and Winter stood in front of the exit. Their weapons clearly loaded and positioned to shoot if anyone were to even take a step forward.

“ Von, pleacă de la bărbat și vino la mama ta” (Von, step away from the man and come toward your mother) Winter said gruffly, his gaze never wavering from the group that stood in the way. The young boy now known as Von, looked at Steve for a moment and back at his father, before hesitantly toddling toward Khione.

Both captors kept their weapons positioned and ready to fire, keeping a close watch that none of them made a move, and only looked away to make sure their son was safely behind them.

"Listen, there doesn’t need to be any fighting. Just please let us take (y/n) home and you won’t have to deal with us” said Steve.

Khione chuckled coldly, “If things were that simple Captain. Do you think that we would have gone through the effort of bringing her here and allowing you to get this far? Although, I never would have expected that my own son would come and lead you here.”

“The girl was merely bait. So unless you actually wish for any harm to come to her, I suggest that you follow us” said Winter.

Tony smirked, hiding (Y/N) behind him and looking them in the eye. He simply said, “Thor.”

The art of surprise was clearly on their side, because as soon as Tony said his name, Thor broke through the roof of where they were located. Effectively giving them a chance to escape as both Khione and Winter moved to protect their son.

“Daddy, you have to go back!” (Y/N) cried out, as she attempted to tear herself out of his grasp and return to the direction that they came from.

“I know you’re worried about Von. But no matter how messed up and probably crazy those two are, they’re the kids parents and will raise that kid to the best of the their ability” Tony said in attempt to reassure her.

“You don’t understand Daddy. Von’s mom is my mom!” said (Y/N)

Almost immediately Tony and the others stopped in their tracks and looked to her with both sorrow and surprise.

“(Y/N), I get that you wish that Mom was around. But she died when you were still a baby, there is no way that Von’s mom could possibly yours.”

“That’s where you’re wrong Daddy. I saw her face underneath the mask and it was exactly like my Mom’s, every last detail was like her. She even had the beauty mark underneath her eye” (Y/N) argued.

“We have to go back for her. Not to mention that Von tagged along” (Y/N) pointed out.

Sure enough, just as she had said. Von stood in front of him, completely unaffected by both the freezing cold weather and having chased after them.

It was in that moment Tony knew that they were pretty screwed. Not just because they had managed to escape from the two with (Y/N), but because their own son was with them. And from he could tell, neither of them would be willing to listen to reason when they saw that their son was nowhere in sight.
