Description My disabled with-a-mind-of-its-own left hand kept "asking" for a chance to use the coloured inks. I let it. (I am, btw, right-handed...well sort of...I was originally left handed but years and years and years of foot stomping and hand slapping by various adults had me switch mid youth...and then a massive hospital mistake mostly took down the nervous network in that left arm...so things with it are...interesting to say the least.)

Ink and marker and a sharpie pen on smooth heavy bristol.

This piece has a really nice flowing motion to it, the lines let your eyes move everywhere. Really like the colors too! Very nice

I'm so glad I didn't have any problems with adults like that (left handed too).
This is well composed and your left hand has made good choices with the colour considering it is blind.

I feel so pathetic XD You do better with your disabled left hand then i do with my fully functioning right one.

THank you so much! Honestly, I was originally a lefty, but years and years of scolding as a kid had me switch. Working with my left hand, even with the nerve injury, still feels more like me even after all the years of nonuse.

You're fortunate, I came from a day when lefties were still actively forced over at school. Plus, I had a superstitious father who still thought it was slightly evil to be one.

Wow. I've heard of that before, people discourging leftys. Why?! I'm a lefty. I mostly only write and draw with my left hand, I've slowly been presuaded to do everything else with my right hand, just becasue everyone else uses their right hands. I live in a country of right hand dominants. That's whay my teacher told me once. (USA by the way) But this is beautiful for your left hand. (:

A lot of it has to do with the old way of thinking that being left-handed was actually wicked or demonic. And because the vast majority of people are righthanded, most tools are made with them in mind. My father used to tell me there was no place for lefties in a right-handed world and I would actually get whacked on the hand if I used it by some of my teachers. To this day I hold pen/pencils/brushes incorrectly in my right hand because I never got used to holding it in that hand to begin with.

I love this, the purple and the motion are stunning.

Quick question, how do you get those amazing white splotches and splatters? they are begging for me to play with them!!!

and next time you want to try wierd, sometimes my feet want a play... holding stuff with toes is interesting and toe painting is also very theraputic, although messy.
