It's actually one animal (well, if you want to get specific a praya dubia is several organisms working together). The praya dubia is the longest animal on earth, longer than even the blue whale.

This does look very jellyfish-like... like the creature you cited. ._. This would look more like it if it was more blue, but then it would be kind of boring, in my opinion.

Yep, and it's part of a deep sea series I'm working on, (angler fish was the first), so I kept the color scheme somewhat the same.
