It's actually one animal (well, if you want to get specific a praya dubia is several organisms working together). The praya dubia is the longest animal on earth, longer than even the blue whale. So that's still the same animal up there. The sperm looking thing is the head. It's a relative of the jellyfish I believe.

This does look very jellyfish-like... like the creature you cited. ._. This would look more like it if it was more blue, but then it would be kind of boring, in my opinion.

Yep, and it's part of a deep sea series I'm working on, (angler fish was the first), so I kept the color scheme somewhat the same.
