You need to see the sssscomic.com/ they use cats as guards and early alarms for trolls in their story line its awesome and this reminded me of it so much I have to favorite it. Great work!

Two excellent artists for inspiration, if you ask me! The golden age of illustration was quite the bee's knees. Arthur Rackham's one of my favorites from that time period, though I liked the varied quality of Dulac's work - from oriental themes to classic fairy tales, he had a delicate way with watercolors.
And with cats as big as Norwegian Forest Cats, it's no surprise she's seen success as a troll-hunter!
