Description It has been in my mind these past few days to attempt and re-create one of the most iconic artifact cards of MTG and also Liliana's actual artifact, the Chain Veil. Even though I did not re-create the actual background of the card, I did manage to succeed in creating the necessary atmosphere this beautiful -yet dangerous- artifact deserves.

The veil itself took me 2-3 days to complete in crafting and I can tell that it did turn out good enough. Now, just like it was guarded by an angel when Liliana was sent to retrieve it from an ancient Onakke Temple (which also happened to be a mausoleum too), I thought it'd be nice to have two angel-shaped candle-holders to represent the fact it was being "guarded". The gold candles were chosen mostly because they would fit with the veil's colours, but they also have a symbolic meaning for success. Apart from that, they do give the impression that some sort of ritual is about to happen or did happen in the past, probably when it was first crafted or when it was about to be sealed away for some thousands of years (until Kothophed send Liliana to retrieve it for him, an action which moments later caused his own death by it, under Liliana's control). It is also rumored through Liliana's Visions that it was the cause (along with Raven Man) that the Onakke civilization faced extinction.

I have no idea what any of that description means but the work is impressive no doubt.

Well, you may google it. It's an artifact card in the game of Magic The Gathering. A game that also follows a certain story-telling. It's really interesting.

I'd heard of magic the gathering but yeah I never bothered to look up anything on it. Yugioh was always my card game of choice but, now even that's been put away because I'm too invested in my game coding.

I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh too, but right now I have stopped playing games overall. No more free time left to enjoy them, no more people to play with. But still, I might give a chance to the MTG. I've been recently taught how to play, maybe I could try more with it sometime.

Children grow up, become adults, have more responsibilities and less time to enjoy and relax. That's how life has become.
