What kind of computer are you using? What're it's specs?

It is one that I built myself - a Cooler Master HAF-932 Case, Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooler, MSI Motherboard, 12 GB DDR3 RAM, twin SLI Sparkle nVidia 9800GT Video Cards, 2½ TB of HDD, and a Core i7 Quad Core CPU.

Ooh wow. That is a beastie. I bet it cost a pretty penny. Windows 7?

Windows 7 64-bit yes, and no not really - I saved a lot of money simply by building it myself, and a clean Windows 7 install without all the "bought bloatware" makes it run AMAZING! Even at full GI rendering my CPU max temp gets up to only 50 C in C4D and 65 C in Vue, 10% CPU usage in rendering in C4D and 22% CPU usage in Vue (that right there should tell you that Cinema 4D is better at managing resources than Vue is )

What are the pointy things in the engine block?

I would imagine that they are some sort of deflection apparatus for the exhaust of the main engines - either with venting (a movable object that deflects the exhaust and thus the 'force') or some sort of magnetic deflection apparatus (due to the fact some forms of 'hot plasma' respond well to magnetic intervention).

that kicks all the asses ! it's really cool to see you make a smaller model . the details are much easier to inspect

Thanks V - smaller? This puppy is almost 2km long! I have to walk from end to end to inspect each piece after modeling - it's tiring

take the bus maybe i should have said thicker instead of smaller . Mars Concept and Icarus were thin and the details couldn't be seen well without viewing separate close-up images . Warlock's details can be seen easier

Thank you very much - yeah that would be seriously awesome if they brought the show back and gave it the 'facelift' like they did with BSG
